The video gave me an understanding of what atomic force microscope does. The functions at the subatomic level has been very intriguing at biological processes and at perceptual level.
wow there's so many issues that can go wrong, but i have an idea for the orientation. this could be fixed by having the computer detect the angle of the product that it is scanning then make a correction by turning the probe in the same angle.

I read something about how they tried to reduce the chances of the tip breaking. I don't know I could be thinking of another detector altogether.
