Hi Andrew, thanks for the response. Actually yes.i do have Logitech cams..usb..and i guess u are right..one of them is not working properly...so how do we solve this?
@gold752001 Not really sure how to solve this issue. Maybe get another drive ... Just to clarify. When I say that I was able to display up to 25 camera, I need also to add that these were IP cameras of different manufacturers. Not all USB. Yes, some could be USB, but not ALL.
Its good. But currently I am trying to connect 6 vids and getting only 5. I wonder what wrong I am doing. I am using all different 6 players and all different 6 video sources etc and applying all start methods, seperate in each thread with a pause of 2 seconds between 2 cameras start. Still the problem persists
@gold752001 Well, some time ago I was able to get up to 25 camera running. What are your cameras? IP or USB web cams? If you have 2 USB camera of the same model, they may not work simultaneously together (like many Logitechs) - most probably something wrong with their drivers.
Anyway, you are welcome to debug since you have all the sources.
Hi Andrew thanks for the response . Yes I got Logitech QuickCam E350, 3 Microsoft LifeCam Cinemas & 2 VGA USB Cameras. And the output is random..That is any one of these 6 wont work. Its not sure which one. I am running these in 6 different threads.
hi!! any chance you might be sharing the code? i am really impressed! i would like to implement the same model and play with it to follow objects around using wheels..
I'm impressed with your work. I have used Aforge for several project including welding gap measuring, shooting simulator, drum simulator, playing card suit identification and more.
I think you should write a list of cameras that support a dual config (3D).
Well, writing a list of cameras supporting dual configuration would not be a problem, if there would be some support/partnership. It is hard to collect different possible USB cameras from different manufacturers and test them all.
But, we may try another road. The 2.0 version of AForge NET Framework is going to provide a small sample application, which tests dual cameras setup. So what we can do is to make a survey of AForge NET framework users (those who have 2 cameras of the same model), asking them if the sample application works fine on their side. If they provide their feedback, we may get the list.
Sounds great. I bought two of Logitechs cheapest a few months ago but those didn't work (as you wrote earlier). Think I should try another brand cause I really wanna try 3D. :)
In the article there is a picture with a tooltip, which says Acme cameras. This is not some sort well known brand, but quite inexpensive camera from regular shop. Just did want to try something more expensive, because I heard problems with two Logitech cameras working together ...
I'm not that experienced in AI programming, however, i did check out the source code. i imagine i will need to learn some of the terminology before using some of these objects. The difference between a MoravecCornersDetector and a SusanCornersDetector? I need to read up.
Im quite interested in the GA namespaces, but i have a feeling the imaging namespaces would serve more practical application.

I understand.. but if you put a list up maybe people would contribute to it.

hi, can you recommend good documentation on Aforge?

Did you try visiting AForgeNET website? There you may find documentation, samples download, forums to discuss.

Yeah, found the website. Thanks for the reply.

Oh, your the owner of the project too, kudos :)

I'm curious, what are the cameras you used? Your writeup (great btw) didn't mention that, I only know they not Logitechs.
