  • 3:46 Use the thing to fly to catch the gem...

    Mind hurts from difficulty

  • "Good teenagers, take off your clothes!"

  • The Irate Gamer's video should not have more views than this.

  • The 8-bit bootleg game far better than the original. :P

  • i LOVE how roo still does his own review while also taking time to point out how bad the irate gamers version actually was...

  • yeah, i dont hate the irate gamer but he tends to miss a lot of basic elements in games hes reviewd in the past that makes them much easier to play

  • Irate gamer didn't read the instuction book

  • I just played it for the very first time just like 5 minutes ago (i played up to level 3) and yeah it's pretty good, i really like the gamplay in the snes version. It's quite hard though.

  • Heh. It's funny because he disses the irate gaymer.

  • Fuck the Pirate Gaymer.

  • Best reviews of Aladdin

hope the Irate gamer drops dead xP

  • FUCK THE IRATE GAMER!

  • you sir, are the shit.

  • I think just the North American market where Capcom had exclusive rights to Disney. Another developer Kemco also had rights to Disney who developed Crazy Castle series which earlier games were Roger Rabbit and Mickey Mouse rather than Bugs Bunny.

  • Ouch! Was there really a need to attack the AVGN like that?

  • @salpha22 Actually, he's making fun of irate gamer, but oh well... Wait a couple of years, and you'll outgrow the nerd and think he sucks :3

  • @Terryracoon Actually, the nerd's reviews have simply gone downhill, it's not a matter of growing out of them. Originally, the nerd was good to watch because of how relatable he was; most gamers could relate to his hate toward certain games. After a while, he started adding stupid characters and comedy skits and became unrelatable; have seen the ending to that SMB 3 and Wizard, or that goddamn bugs bunny review? And DON'T even get me started on the R.O.B. review...

  • @Terryracoon Simply put, the James Rolfe no longer no longer puts himself and his own feelings into his reviews, he ACTS as a seperate character, and as of 2008, his reviews have become nigh unwatchable (with a few notable exeptions like his "Plumbers Don't Wear Ties" Review, wich was actually quite good IMO.

  • @Carsonj13 funny that you say that cuz plumbers dont wear ties is my hate episode=)

  • @MakeAGameWithMe Eh. Like it or not, it was a huge step up from his other episodes it didn't have any comedy skits or characters.

  • yeah,suck it irate gamer

  • I remember playing this game as a kid even though I didnt grow up in the 16- bit era and my favorite stage was always the genie stage

  • On the 16 bit era, most of the disney games were awesome anyways (Lion King, Pinocchio, Mikey Mania, World of illusion, and my favorite, quackshot)

There was only ONLY 1 bad disney game, and i repent today even for buy it ... Fantasia... god curse that game.

  • haha i might be stupid but are you refrencing the irate gamer in the begging of your video ? XD i loved this game as a kid and i still do to this day

  • Right when you said Irate I pictured Irate Gamer right next to your face

  • Capcom made some Awesome Disney games!!! This and the Magical Quest(Mickey Mouse) games are great!!

  • @OnThatPowder Not to mention Darwking Duck, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers I+II, Quackshot, and Ducktales I+II.

  • I don't think Capcom had ALL the rights to Disney games on Nintendo systems. What about the SNES Lion King, or the Game Boy version of Aladdin? Those were both by Virgin Interactive. Were there some loopholes Virgin exploited, or was Capcom feeling lazy with those?

  • Irate Gamer is a terrible reviewer.

    that is all.

  • "Dad you want an asprin or something"? Don't TOUCH"! LOL!

  • Alladin on the SNES has to be one of my favorite SNES game, it's got great music, fun stages, and is totally worth playing, no matter what various hack job reviewers whose names rhyme with smirate gamer say about it. (screw you Bores >:C)

  • Awesome. Fourth Edition DND books on the your shelf, Gray. I approve.

  • "Shit Tacular Fuck Fest" Wow

    lol that is awesome

  • My friend had this for genesis I had it for SNES. Apart from the sword you could get in the genesis the SNES version was way better.

  • I'm glad you did a good review of this game...I loved this game when I was young. Irate gamer's review was unfair, especially the part where he kept failing to get the gem.

  • YOU WANT A HIDDEN GEM? try out space megaforce, the best hidden gem I had so far.

  • AW MAN THIS GAME IS A SHITACTULAR FUCKFEST!!!

oh irate gamer... making fun of your bs reviews will always be funny.

  • OMG BAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAH the joke about tarzan made me fall off my chair laughing.

  • hmm I played the snes one :) loved that game, it was just brilliant...it shamelessly ripped off just about every platformer ever but oh wel it was quite solid :) animation wasnt as good as the sega one though ... but pft

  • I remember getting the game as a birthday present, though I liked the TV show better than the movie from time to time. XD

  • You didn't run once.

    Wah wah wah.

  • **sigh** Wonderful memories from this game you're interviewing. Remember it love it. The part where Abu touch the ruby in the game and the movie scare the crap outta me when I little. **laughes** Oh god, please bring it to the Virtual Console. Please.

  • OMG :D I love this game when I was like ten I used to beat it over and over

  • i like how you bashed the irategamer at 3:50 :)

    his review was bogus

  • @smavey As is EVERY one of his so-called "reviews". :D

  • Haha, I love beating this game every morning. It's fun, short, easy...and a great way to wake me up in a few minutes..and Capcom...of course. :)

  • Damn I loved this game. I used that sheet on, like, every jump.

  • I loved how you stuck it to the irate gamer about getting that red gem with the sheet. And also the part where you got the guy doing a slam dunk. I laughed just thinking about seeing that in the Aladdin movie. All in all, I liked this game too.

  • Actually, the song in the first level was from the movie. I think it's called "One Jump Ahead". One of my favorite tracks from the movie.

  • Well... I think perhaps stage 1's music was inspired by "One Jump Ahead", but the two songs don't really seem to be the same. Maybe my ears are deceiving me, but I don't think so.

  • Okay, now that I've listened to them side by side, I see your point. They are fairly similar, but also different. (also I kinda like the chiptune version better >.>)

  • I remember this game. I might play it on an emulator for the nostalgia.

  • lol i laughed right at the irate comment at the start, nice review

  • Good review. My favorite parts were the humorous bits of your own that you threw in.

As someone who was raised by the NES and SNES, I am glad you are doing videos like this. In fact, I still have my old consoles plugged in right beside my 360.

16-bit games recommended for review: Castlevania 4, Secret of Mana, Link to the Past, and Super Ghouls and Ghosts.
