  • what is the most a 50mW laser can do? ie. pop balloons? melt plastic?

  • @lebsor 50mW has a nice beam but basically no burning power.

  • @lebsor 50Mw can pop a balloon, burn plastic, and sting skin

  • With 50mW green do you need safety glasses? At what mW do you start to need safety glasses?

  • @jeffreyZZZ PM sent

Depending on how you use your laser, you may need safety glasses. Any laser with more than 5-10mW can cause serious eye injuries.

  • Is there some sort of magnifier on this laser or is it all oem?

  • No magnifier.

  • can yu send a a 125mW viper to qatar?

  • Yes.

  • O.K i wil thanks

  • I ordered one of these and it was just great. Then, I brought it to camp and it got really messed up. THe dieode thingy fell out and i cant put it back in with the button going out the hole. Any help?

  • email me at frank @ dragonlasers com with the details

  • I think it comes with a 3 month warranty.

  • OK thanks

  • do you think a 55mW laser will pop balloons too just a little slower?

  • No, generally you need 75mW of power to pop balloons.

  • is viper 75mw legal in Romania and do u ship here?

  • PM sent

  • would a viper 125mW be legal in australia???

  • Illegal to import but but we still ship them to Australia.

  • who cares?

  • how much dose it cost

  • The Viper 75mW laser in this video cost $159.99

  • what? is this 75mw laser pen?

    this is 175mw

  • This is a Viper 75mW laser pointer.

You only need 75mW with a high quality laser to pop balloons.

  • if they cost less than one paycheck i'd buy one.

  • I'm looking into buying a laser.....not looking to spend a fortune though. I'm looking for a laser with a beam visible during the day and with a visible dot distance of over 3 miles? What power laser should I get?

  • PM sent

  • i have da same message as idkwattoput1 can u PM me 2?

  • Me also.

  • say my friends across the street were having a party, and they had balloons (assuming they are black ones)would I be able to pop them from across the street? it's just a typical road 2 lanes

  • No. Even with the more powerful 200mW lasers, the range for popping balloons is normally no more than 4-6 meters.

  • alright thx, just curious ;)

  • well u could get the spartan gp and the beam expander to focus it and that might work... u need a reallllly steady hand tho lol...just an idea

  • hmm ok thx

  • True. Many people use the beam expander to increase burning/popping range.

  • "Ai caralho!" Hahahahahaha!

  • hi, i was looking into purchasing the 75mw viper laser, approximently how visible is the beam in daylight? and at dark?

  • PM sent

  • Hey very cool how i can get one

  • Looking forward to seeing Death Stars and Lightsabers on Dragonlasers!

  • i got one of these comin in the mail right now :D i cant wait =DDDDDDDDDDDD along with a pair of safety goggles, of course

  • guys this is my new channel itachisasuke22 was a stupid name anyway: naruto sucks. and this name is more appropriate for the laser vids ill be doing when i get my 75mw.

  • if u buy a laser from them, do the goggles come free?

  • The laser safety glasses at $25 are very cheap but not free.

  • Thats Great Video!!..I just purchaed the Hulk 200mW & a big bag of black balloons and im going to make a video too!

    -Steve

  • Looking forward to it. You'll be able to pop a lot of black balloons and at long range with a Hulk 200mW.

  • The reflection is a big spot because the surface of the balloon is not good at reflecting. If the beam was reflected of an optical quality mirror, the beam spot would be much smaller.

  • PM sent

  • hey! at what level mw should I be wearing safety goggles?? Im thinking of buying a 75mw.

  • Depends on what you are doing. Using indoors for experiments, I'd say get safety glasses at 55mW or higher.

if you use it outside, then safety glasses are not important at most power levels.

  • LOL the DOG ^^

  • Good observation. You should always be careful of reflected beams.

  • thats an awsome laser im gonna save and get one

  • i just ordered a 125mw, its gonna be sick. i'll tell you this now as i just noticed it. 95mw is 199US, 125mw is 350US, huge price diffrence for 30mw

  • look on different websites you can find 122mW for 120 US

  • um u sure?

  • u can get 75mW for $149 shipped

  • Dang lol i went to Dragonlasers dot com that will take me years to get that much money but of course im only a kid :P

  • that must mean a 95mW can pop balloons!!

  • wow sounds like u got screwed over at another laser site. DLs are the best!

  • Do i see that right, that there is a REFLECTION on your hand and you are NOT wearing laser goggles?

Problem with 75mW is - there is no learning effect - one mistake and you're blind.

  • Viper 75mW- they cost 159$ according to the site (or are you thinking of the balloons?)

  • lol expensive balloons :)

  • ye ^^

  • its free for him he owns dragonlaser the website

  • where did u get that

  • It's from Dragonlasers at w w w . dragonlasers . com

  • im might get the 125 mW 1 viper i think

  • awesome!

  • i cant deside between a viper 95mW laser pen at dragon lasers or a 200 mW laser pen on eBay(they r both 200 dollars). please write back. this is a christmas prezent. MESSAGE ME PLEASE

  • What laser would be good for general pointing and whatnot, but have no chance of burning skin or damaging eyes? the 15mW seems too little, but would the 35mW (Viper series) damage and/or burn eyes?

  • For indoor pointing in small to medium sized rooms, i'd say 5-10mW. 15mW if you are careful. Any higher starts being dangerous.

For a very large room, i'd say 15mW but i would not go higher.

  • just saw this comment and i use my 75mw in a room that is around 5mx5m room :S

  • I have a cheaper, less powerful (>5mW) green laser pointer that I got and had a quick flash from it reflected to my eyes. It was no longer than a quarter of a second, so there's no chance of damage, right?

(The place I got it from ripped me off, so I'm returning it. I think I'm going to get one of these high quality ones soon.)

  • At 5mW, your eye will not be injured.

  • you should try that with a 300mw and no safety googles :)

  • Hey, do you use glasses when using your laser? in which cases do i need to use glasses? I just want to use it to pop balloons light matchs and just point it ouut in the air.

  • For thoses uses, i would not normally wear protective glasses. Just be careful of how you use the laser and of reflective surfaces.

With glasses, the beam is normally not visible.

  • SICK

  • I like the dog! hahaha

Cool, I want one for christmas!

  • Cats and dogs just love lasers but this one is too powerful for them.

Put w w w . dragonlasers . com on your christmas wish list. Over two months to save up :)

  • dragon lasers are awesome

  • Thanks, nice to have enthusiasts. A dedicated channel just to post comments though hmmm?????

  • i am gonna start posting vids about my lasers explaining why their awesome i couldn't befoer because of work but soon on crhistmas vacation/break i will post some vids ;)

  • Great, please let me know when you have some vids. I'd enjoy watching them :)

  • ok i will start on january 1st as to celebrate the new year

  • ok i jsut decided to upgrade from my 75mw to 95mw i am going to order it on wednesday

  • The extra power to burn will look better in your vids

  • i have a secret... my shoes are black and white :O amazing!?

  • ok umm at the moment i have like 300$ if i can find another 100$ bill under the couch i will get a 125mw instead of 95mw

  • at $159.99 its a bit of a rip off :(

    $75 is reasonable

  • High power lasers are expensive so there is no way to provide very low prices. $160 is already a good price and you are unlikely to find lower than that with the same quality.

  • that one in the video is only a 160???? wow what is that superbobble talkin about? man i wanna buy one. where can i get it

  • Pm'd you Jose :)

  • $75 dollar lasers suck and you cant do anything like this with them. Sure they look cool but dont expect to burn through anything or pop a black balloon.

  • Well said. You get what you pay for and $75 does not pay for much.

  • lol the dog

  • domobran

  • llibnis

  • llibnis???

  • Dude, you hit the dog!.. LOL!

  • lol

  • haha dogs and lasers have a thing for each other :)

  • ROFL!!!!!!

  • you here the dog in the background, and DUDE, WHERE IS YOUR SHIRT
