I love how in the European versions the Phantom's sexuality is not downplayed. In the US and UK, they seem to tone down his raw sexual aggressiveness for the sake of the little old ladies and kiddies who flock to this show. Check out the Spanish version where he literally gropes Christine in PONR. I don't care for the wimpy Phantoms out there.

@SignoraPianeta Die Aufnahme ist von einer alten VHS-Videocassette von einem TV-Mitschnitt auf den Rechner übertragen. Da sollte man sich nicht über die Qualität wundern sondern froh sein, dass es überhaupt noch erhalten ist.

It's Colby Thomas (Christine) and Thomas Schulze (Phantom). This clip was aired in 1998 in a german TV-Show called "ZDF-Sonntagskonzert" (they usually are known for other kind of music than musicals ;))

Musik wird auf der zweiten silbe betont "music" auf der ersten, deshlab wurde es geänder5t, klingt einfch schöner. als "Engel der MUUUUsik"
