I have been a Rusty Wier fan for 30 years, the only one in my circle of 50 year old friends here in NC to ever hear of him. I had hoped one day to venture out to Austin to see him in concert. It is one of my life's biggest regrets never doing it.
I have met Rusty lots of times beginning in 1979 in Lake Charles LA at The Whisket Still Bar. I have loved his music since then. He is a true original and one of the nicest people ever. My prayers are with you Rusty and I hope you come to a place near Houston soon! Yours, Truly Julie
Rusty is an original "cosmic" and one of the nicest guys you could meet. I have bought a many tequilla shot's for that grey-haired hippie. The ghosts of Saxon and Gino's have tale's to tell. RJ, get me a mind-eraser and a draft....i'll spill my gut's.
What an incredible evening with John Fannin, Coby Wier, Todd Potter, Andy Tarrant on guitars and Bon Wier on drums. What a way to say goodbye to friends and fans.
A genuine and kind soul.

Am so glad someone recorded this performance at Poodies Hilltop in Spicewood. I was there and it was amazing.

I saw several folks, most with better cameras than I have, recording that evening, so maybe more videos will follow soon. We can hope!

Please, someone tell me about what's wrong with Rusty. It's been a long time since I've seen him, but I love his style.
