i remember that day i do not live that far away from k-mart it's about 3 miles from my house ther was a funnel clound near my house but it did not touch the ground but it almost touch my friends house across the street from were i live but we are still thankful the tornado did not touch our house
@RVDMISSISSAUGAKID There is no funnel cloud there... There is no rotation! What wild allegations are you speaking of? There is no tornado there, there is barely a storm there, he is just plain wrong.
@RVDMISSISSAUGAKID The only wild allegation being made is that this cloud is a tornado. Just because the cloud is well-pronounced and clearly visible does NOT mean it's a tornado. Is there any rotation? NO. Is there any debris? NO. There is no indication this is a tornado and the TV weather dude is talking out of his butt.
I love when they use terms like "tornadic activity" to try to sound like they know what they are talking about. All the pancake make-up in the world can't cover up stupid.
The "meteorologist" was not hired by the AMS. He was hired by the tv station. The AMS is an organization that even non-meteorologists can become members of.
I have seen many similar things that are reported as tornadoes all the time. This clip could be used as a training video.
TOTAL EPIC FAIL. This is why I hate wall-to-wall coverage, it's filled with speculation and incorrect info. That applies to almost any story, not just weather coverage. Another thing I've seen them do is to forget to announce tornado warnings because they're too focused on another cell somewhere else. Please, just tell me when NWS issues a new warning, show the radar briefly, and then go back to regular programming.
Thats a powerplant idiot!! god i didnt know wcco was so stupid!

Technically it isn't a tornado until it touches the ground, but that funnel cloud is still extremely well pronounced and clearly visible.
That guy still has plenty of knowledge and I do not in any way support the wild allegations.

Meteorological Bullshit. Why was this dude even hired by the AMS??

NO rotation = No tornado. Appears to be power-plant's steam plume issuing into the storm updraft.
