This is sound more like beatles less like My Bloody Valentine. Which is ok even though My Bloody Valentine is one of my favorite bands. Lilys first album is still my favorite.

@Refrescospepito It's called a fender XII. It's actually a reissue, but instead of a jaguar/jazzmaster body like the original they decided to use a strat body. I'm more partial to the original because I really dig the jag/jazz body shape.

Yeah ,saw them in the NW I met Kurt after the show, he's hella tall on some Thurtson Moore sh*t. Anyway,i feel he was stoned,He was hella laid back and super nice. I swear members of the Swirlies were Roadies. Got my copy on 'presents of nothing' signed. With a minimal setup the drummer was spot on. Mos ton the concert was e-acoustic i recall. But yea, maybe 1 or 2 early Lilys songs played

Saw them at the Empty Bottle & Schubas in Chicago. Awesome. The sound guy at the Bottle played Kinks songs nonstop inbetween sets, teasing them.

If you like shoegaze-y stuff more, Selected is fabulous. "Won't Make You Sleepy" is my favorite Lilys song, by far.

The best album is 'Better Can't Make Life Better' which this song is from.There's two versions of it and I recommend the remixed version from 1998.They are a different band for every record.

I bought the CD single of this after it appeared on the Levi's advert. The Lilys are a very, very talented band. They capture that 60s feel very well.
