  • Have you ever used KDE... ON DRUGS?

  • What kind of nerd would take drugs just to see what kde looked like? Except Richard Stallman I mean...

  • problably me, but im high in kde gnome lxde and even in command line.

i dont see any diference maybe high on acid, but on weed its the same, when im high i only go to youtube and songbird and play savage ofc

anyway this is useless so i dont want it, i like simple GE like Openbox and lxde altough KDE 4 as some nice fetures it is also very bugged i will try it when when the realese 4.5

  • @kakita123 agree - kde should focus on real things more that these fancy useless crap

  • @kakita123 4.6 is out now, so load it to your computer (via the update manager?)

BEWARE, before restarting, update your login theme to Horos and be warned that you should disable the cube as it burns off your X server.

  • @rinkavideos64 I had to fumble with a LiveCD to change my damn-hell login theme, you don't want this. Or better: just do this in GDM (or whatever is your desktop manager) and then go to KDM. However, using your desktop manager, it will likely be jumbled with GNOME panels or that shit.

  • @styx85 so this is to compensate the viewing distortion under drug effect I suppose :)

  • contusiones, this is just a development test, not something that will be implemented into a desktop - at least not the raw version you saw in the video.

  • In one word: useless.

  • D*mm, I meant wave effect :)

  • No, it's a realtime blur effect on a desktop. I think it's kwin composite which will debut in KDE4.

  • is that for a screensaver then?
