  • Did he really break this guy's neck, and Owen did the exact same thing to him?

Karma is a son of a bitch!

  • How ironic. Such a legend as Chono got his in-ring actions greatly limited, and Austin suffered the same fate...

  • OWEN 3:16

    I JUST BROKE YOUR NECK

  • oh shit...that looked painful.

  • @Fehnrique

Owen was dull and forgettable. Technically he might have been a better wrestler than Owen, but that's only one factor of being a wrestler. Austin had catchphrases that are more memorable than Owens entire career before Over the Edge.

  • @EdSoulman You know very little about wrestling. Your comment is proof of that.

  • @EdSoulman lol where did this come from

  • @EdSoulman Dull and forgettable my ass. Dislike Hart for botching a move that Austin did to someone else years prior, but don't let your bias blind you to reality. Austin was a floundering mid-carder drawing dead air from the crowds before Vince McMahon sculpted him into a superstar.

  • ironic really sitdown piledriver

  • Comment removed

  • wait a sec... steve austin nailed the piledriver and he is the one almost KO?

  • @TheSebang

People liked Austin, no-one gave a damn about Owen til he died.

  • @EdSoulman Haha......sure. Owen was miles better.

  • @EdSoulman revisionist history at its finest

  • The same move that Owen used to break Austin's neck years later, payback is a mother fucker, ain't it ?

  • uhhh is it me or does it seem like austin broke his leg on the landing and the dude he is goin against is feeling better than him

  • Karma? No.

  • SHOCKED TO SEE AUSTIN HAD HAIR!!!! BREAKING NEWS!

  • well austin might have broken his neck later but what happened to owen hart for what he did to austin.

  • Whoa whoa hold on a sec. How many here have read stone colds book? In that book he was very critical of Owen saying stuff like "and why did he drop on his ass? I have never seen anyone do a tombstone and land on their ass instead of their knees"

    lol...ahh steve

  • @DariushUFC1985 Your point being?? the issue with the owen incident is that the plan was for him to perform a tombstone piledriver (keyword tombstone) thus perform the move landing on his knees. So in that incident austin wasn't positioned correctly to receive the piledriver which owen performed for whatever reason instead of the tombstone and got his neck broken.

  • @DariushUFC1985 that a go point.

  • @DariushUFC1985

Most piledrivers land on the ass aside from the tombstone. Paul Orndorrf, Shawn Michaels etc etc.

  • Stone cold looks like my uncle in this when he was young hahahaha.

  • Pause at 0:17

  • I like the fact steve bitched about owen breaking his neck but never seems to mention this,

  • god that's horrible...

  • came right back to him a few years later.

  • @SuperDeluxe80 funny how owen did it to him and is dead. austin only broke his neck.

  • karma is such a bitch right austin?

  • Karma is a Bitch lol

  • @skindawg17 Then don't watch it.

  • who cares wrestling sucks

  • Karma is a bitch, isn't it Steve?

  • @psychomaniac76584 I clicked on this getting ready to type the same thing.

  • that one didnt look too bad, but I believe it could have broken a neck, the one Auston got from Owen Hart was really bad.

  • /watch?v=sJKCj-_Y1NQ

  • Well what's goes around come's around.

  • "Bawww why ban piledrivers i miss the attitude era"

    This, this is why.

  • @TehRyyu It's not really ban in WWE like it's limited to the really few who do it really really well, with a special permission, because in action it's easier to make an error than in practices (stress) plus you have a bit less control. So, it's limited to the undetaker, kane, Jerry Lawler (stragly enough). However, pretty everywhere in Mexico it's ban by the associations, and you could be fine in Uk for doing that. And, anyway, they don't really need that, just focus more on psychology...

  • @therrydicule piledrivers onto the knees are special permission, aka the tomb stone. they are much MUCH easier to do safely

Sit down pile Drivers are banned across the board usualy. I havent even seen King use one in years.

  • @TehRyyu Don't forget it's pro-wrestling, some move are banned but not really in some organization... In WWE, the "texas pilldriver" is seriously ban...On Lawler - well, how many time do you see him in the ring? No, wrestling Michael Cole don't count on that one. On a more serious note: Lawler use it as a pop, where he let the other guy excape...

And, anyway, you don't really need that move to make people applaud, and if we see it too often it kind of kill the goal...

  • Oo, there goes his odontoid peg

  • Thumbs up if it's actually steve austin. But really, thumbs down.

  • @shiftjacket his trunks say "Austin" on the back, and you can hear the commentator say "Steve Austin" right around 0:12 after the reverse.

  • Obv this move should be banned it's broke 2 guys necks. Obv it would though landing like that but if he goes knees first atleast that is safe

  • i cant believe people are shocked to see Austin had hair. these idiots know nothing about wrestling.

  • @joshd0102 Hollywood blondes foh life!

  • @joshd0102 OMG stone cold had hair?? Lol. Jk i knew that. And im only 17

  • Austin broke someone's neck with the exact same move that broke His neck! WTF?! ......... did that japanese guy hire owen hart i wonder? lol

  • Woah woah woah woah woah woah woah....woah....woah!......Austin had hair at one point!?

  • @thagrammarnazi

dont know if youre being serious at all, but at one point he was in a tag team called "the hollywood blondes"

  • @radicalman33 Lol, i assumed he must've had hair at some point but having never seen him before wwe it was a slight shock.

  • @thagrammarnazi

i really didnt know much about him before he came to wwf as the ringmaster. after he took on his scsa persona i completely forgot he was the same guy. he had a full career that is overshadowed by the fact that scsa became one of the most famous wrestlers of all time

  • @radicalman33 Yeah, kind of a shame, i would have found it interesting to see this dialed down austin in a full match

  • It is common sense that you could break the persons kneck that way.

  • holy fuck!

  • Creepy Karma? Steve austin never wanted to break the guy's neck.

  • never knew that, how ironic

  • @bp408 that' s not ironic at all. learn the meaning of the word before you use it.

  • @snakesinahouseparty I meant ironic, because it was the same move that broke his neck. I know the meaning of douchebag: you.

  • bottom line... i love how people just read into youtube video titles...this move DID NOT break Chonos neck at all

  • 69

  • damn i barely recognized steve austin with hair, i had to look up "stunning steve austin" to see if it was the same dude

  • Funny, I wonder why THIS wasn't included in Stone Cold's book, but a whole chapter about him bitching about Owen Hart WAS.

  • @BlackHart814 seems like kharma bit Austin in the ass

  • Austin didnt cry at all about Owen breaking his neck u idiot lmao NOOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Austin's a bitch. He cried like the fucking president should have sent seal team 6 after Owen Hart for ruining his WWF title reign..and Vince cried too because Austin 3:16 really=people buying his crap merchandice. SCSA's a walking wife beating ATM for the McMahon's. Still he broke Chono's neck WHEN CHONO WAS CHAMP and I've never heard that hick do a single interview saying he's sorry. What a douche.

  • @Commander76 thats not when Austin was WWF championship

  • @Commander76 You do realize that Austin was resentful because Owen never(allegedly) approached him off camera and inquired about his health or made an effort to make amends for it. I don't think he wanted Owen to apologize publicly. Now, I'm not sure if he offered the same treatment to this Chono fellow. Chono might have insight to that. Point is, if he didn't do that for Chono, off camera, on their personal time, then yes, he is a dick for expecting Owen to do the same.

  • @SentientBeyondDesign IF Austin did all the reaching out he claims Owen owed him then you're right. Seeing as though all he's done is point the finger at Owen..while never even acknowledging that he ALSO broke a man's neck doing the exact same manuver...he looks like a douche. Maybe he called Chono 100 times or maybe he kept it moving. Austin's silence on the subject concerning himself after making Owen the poster child for scumbags isn't looking good.

  • Austin 3:16 says i just broke your neck

  • Agree with everyone austin bitches about owen but he did it chono first stupid hick

  • hell, Austin even broke Sylvester Stallone's neck

  • is that austin?

  • Wow. So let me get this straight. Austin resented Owen for breaking his neck, but Austin broke someone else's neck years before? Stone Cold is such an ass. It's no wonder why he's a drunken woman beater.

  • No such thing as karma losers! Bad things happen to good people every day

  • "I don't make mistakes"

    -SCSA on tough enough

  • @DSREK7 Its not that its a mistake...the move is just dangerous in general

  • @lacedpiglighter45 that's definitely a mistake.

when you're positioned for a "tombstone" and you land on your ass you just messed up bigtime. You're supposed to land on your knees.

SCSA himself says that Owen messed up on him when he did the exact same thing. This is no different.

  • @XtjprodigyX Thats so far from the truth... That kind of piledriver u r supposed to land on ur ass

  • @Angell1028 huh? no shit! I know that! except you're supposed to hold the guy higher than he did here. It's either, do a tombstone on your knees and make it safe, or hold the guy correctly and land on your ass.

    He fucked up.

  • @DSREK7 -I can't lie, this made me chuckle.

  • karma!

  • I don't like the idea that karma applies to something that was clearly an accident both times round. Surely karma only applies to the bad things u do on purpose. I mean every wrestler has injured someone, I'm sure chono has hurt someone during his time. Would that make his injury karma against him?

  • @barryjo Bret Hart never injured anyone. Because he was the excellence of execution.

  • Bottom line.....Austin f***ed up and so did Owen. end of story!

  • @TonyChase and now owen is dead

  • I'm surprised at the number of comments posted here that feature the words "karma" and "payback"...I'm amused

  • @TequilaAssassin4eva lol I know. people always talk about karma is going to get you and payback is a bitch and other people wait around for something bad to happen to someone. that is double karma which is worse.

  • @TheShootTruth10 fucking A, man

  • Payback's a Bitch Austin

  • Crazy, the exact same way Owen injured Austin years later.

  • as much as an stone cold mark i am,clearly his fault

  • Karma's a bitch. Austin will get slapped about and beaten by a woman soon, just you wait

  • Is that stone cold steven Austin?

  • @XiLazyRemixiX yupp, he looks a hella lot dif with hair let alone blonde hari

  • Did he break hes neck???

  • Karma? Accident. Both of them.

    Karma...phaw...what a load of shit.

  • @archona54 KHARMA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • KAMA [MUSTAFA] HURTS!

  • @Spunkalish kama mustafa king hurt

  • kharma hurts :p

  • Karma

  • 69er!!

  • I didn't know this happened. Dangerous move.

  • This is why Steve didn't want Owen to peform this kind of tombstone

  • @GregGumbel Actually Austin insisted on this type of pile driver, it was Owen who wasn't comfortable doing it.

  • @GregGumbel karmas a bitch lol haha

  • What I dont understand is the tombstone is a move that nobody has ever kicked out from which makes because you fall on your neck (kayfabe) but the pildriver is just a consider a regular move???? Anyways, Karma is a bitch.

  • @jungle10ful you're wrong Hogan's kicked out the tombstone, Kane has kicked out the tombstone multiple times so has The Rock & Austin get your facts straight

  • what an idiot u cantr do the move properly then why do it at all

  • give the piledriver the respect it deserves. it's spectacular, but also a difficult and dangerous move.

  • I would not call this irony just because Owen did the same thing to Steve a few years later. The definition of irony is: "Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs". Therefore, just because Steve dropped this chap on his head, it does not make us NOT EXPECT it to happen to him later on. This is just a strong sense of coincidence; that is all. The definition of coincidence is: "An event that might have been arranged although it was really accidental."

  • steve austin is smaller than the guy he just pildriver

  • Holy shit, Austin did not protect that guy at all when he did that piledriver. Jesus, he ought to have known better.

  • sit down piledrivers should be banned.

  • @jeffbrister2004 they are in the wwe at least.

  • suddenly I don't feel so bad about it happening to Austin. Karma is a bitch

  • botched piledrivers always look fucking brutal

  • OWW!!

  • instant karma...uh....5yrs later i mean...lol

  • Austin looks ugly with hair

  • stone cold was the first to graduate from chris adams wrestling school in 89or90

    as stunning steve williams

  • Damn

  • And yeah, although Stone Cold stopped wrestling, he's still putting himself in great risk, because he's still acting in violence-heavy movies like Condemned and Expendables. People think fighting in movies is a joke, but you really are putting yourself on the line. In the Stone Cold and Sylvester Stalone fight at the end of The Expendables, Stallone suffered a hairline fracture in his neck that almost killed him. If it was the other way around and Stone Cold got that hit, he WOULD have died.

  • @itzsovicious He was in the expendables!?

  • It's basically the fact that they fall on their asses... The reason Undertakers tombstone piledriver is safe is because he falls on his knees, leaving a LOT of room for the guys head to comfortably fit in the gap, and not make contact with the mat. But both Stone Cold and Owen Hart landed on their rears. If you land on your ass, you leave no comfort room for the other guys head, your basically driving it into the floor. Lesson learned: Idiots shouldnt piledrive.

  • @itzsovicious it is more dangerous but in this match austin was obviously green and in the match with owen it was planned ahead to be a different move than a piledriver which is why austin wasn't too concerned with his head being out of position

  • Karma and a motherfuckin' half.....the injury via Owen basically set the downward trend for his in-ring career.

  • worst piledriver ever....

  • No knee pads? If Stunning Steve doesn't change that he'll have to wear braces.

  • i seem to remember owen hitting the exact same move on dan severn a few months after he injured austin.wonder why sevren allowed him to hit the move?

  • two words god damn!!!

  • piledriver may never be performed on a taller, or slitly shorter opponent. He needs to be at least a foot smaller than you so you can perform it. While the kneeling piledriver is safe to do on a oponnent with similar height

  • Austin had sense enough to know what the move would do. Which is why he told Owen not to do it.

  • So that move was taken from Stone Cold during that match him and owen had. No wonder that move is now banned

  • @FallenMonk55 Should have been banned long ago... That's the entire body weight on the neck, 200 pounds + gravity.

Now they have a variation, normally Undertaker and Kane do it and it's way safer tho I wouldnt like some1 that is shorter than me try to perform that move on me.

  • I'm impressed with the bridge that opened the road to the piledriver!

  • That's the worst and most lazy piledriver I've ever seen. Shame on Austin for even attempting it. Grade F piledriver!

  • Comment removed

  • Ouch!

  • Karma is a bitch, aint is Steve ?

  • karma is a bitch :P

  • im not saying its not bad, but that drop didn't look as bad as the one that happened 2 Austin. Austin was right on top of the head, everything coming down on it. This one looks like it was more towards the forehead.

  • What kind of stupid move IS that? There's no way to give a sit down piledriver with the other guy's head that low without legitimately hurting him. Just drop to your knees and give a tombstone, it'll still look nasty but won't actually hurt him.

  • @melosebrainuhoh

    @melosebrainuhoh

Well if he had bent his legs much more, he could have gotten away with it, but it looks like he was too tired and just FLOPPED completely flat which is a recipe for disaster.....very sloppy....and there's no excuse for that.....pretty bad.

  • Wow, never knew this happened. Kind of makes you think about the situation with owen botching the piledriver on austin.

  • im shocked that mikebryson would say that owen did it on purpose. accidents happen in any sports no matter how many time you do them and clearly it was an accident. you can say what goes around comes around but to say owen did it on purpose is ridiculous

  • bad karma

  • It's funny how he never forgave Owen for that shit, and ridiculed him for years for doing it, and now I see he did the exact same thing to Chono. Um, hypocrite? He of all people should know how dangerous the move is and how easy it is to injure somebody.

  • Masahiro Chono is Owen Hart BF

  • woow talkin bout deja vu

  • damn. its a good thing that austing didnt lock his head with his legs like owen did.

  • Paybacks a bitch....Austin never forgave Owen....THATS the Irony.

  • insanely ironic

  • nobody can do the tombstone piledriver like the undertaker and kane

  • caesare shikara ga AAAt !! kusasto miki asto mashoi korobato yu ani mawastaaa

  • Ok, Well Austin Is A Professional And I Mean, It's Not Like He Did It Purposely And Yeah Irony Bit Him In The Ass Years Later Lol

  • thats whachu call F A T E

  • they were 69ing....bucket of yuck

  • they should banned this wrestling move

  • @tsaleh88 I think it is banned.

  • @tsaleh88 Japan? HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @tsaleh88

Seriously, this move has ended so many careers in the short and long run.

  • Interesting. Irony indeed. Just goes to show that wrestling is real.
