Chrysler's Dodge division, with American Tobacco's Pall Mall or Lucky Strike {Dorothy Collins, of Lucky Strike's 'YOUR HIT PARADE". sings the "Luckies Taste Better" jingle in their commercial}, were the alternate sponsors of the show from 1954 through '56. This is a "Dodge" show, originally telecast on February 23, 1954. "D-P-I" was Desilu Productions, Inc.- the show was filmed at Desilu, but because of their "exclusivity" at CBS, their name wasn't officially credited until the fall of 1955.
