What I mean by Zombie Party is that they just won't die. We have the "robber barons" of the roaring 20's which was solved by the New Deal and aggregate demand through deficit spending. Hopfully, President Obama will be couragous enough to continue in the face of criticism for his spending bills. FDR fell short and the economy started to tank again until aggregate demand through temporary deficit spending was resumed in WWII.
