Younger minds etcrar - Also if u tell some youngling he is not a special infusion of specialness he might not be so special when he grows up. However people who insist to deny scientific stuff and such and just foolish
You wanna believe in god...thats fine...but don't crap all over logic and scientific method in the process. Just because a child is christian doesn't mean that you should rob them of a proper education... Shame on you Creation Ministries.
@DaveMagee83 You wanna believe you evolved from a rock...thats fine...but don't teach it as science when you don't have a shred of viable evidence to back it up. Just because a child is forced to learn your religious belief doesn't mean that you should rob them of a proper education...we've gone from the #1 educational system in the world as of 1962 (started forcing Darwinism on our kids in 1963) to almost dead last today- Shame on you
@RussMiller1000 You are asserting that our global position in education is somehow tied to teaching evolutionary theory. As of 2007, the strongest science and mathematics education programs arose from Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Hungary. I strongly suspect that evolution is a part of the biology and science curriculum in those countries. You might be a serious person...but no one worth knowing will ever take you seriously.
To carve the grand canyon in three days is a joke. The huge meanders at the start are evidence that it was not formed quickly. fast moving water goes straighter. Its a basic fact you will see in any river or stream. Water modelling will show the same. The amount of sediments from the flood could not have been created in under a year anyway. No mater how the water eroded rocks. This guy is a stupid fool who wants to convince others to be stupid fools.
@MikeyyPe You're right - that is the fairy tale they teach 4th graders. Want to try and viably explain the missing mile of srata from atop the rim of Grand Canyon? Oh, you didn't know about that did you? Time to graduate from 4th grade Mikey. Watch my videos on the 3-Day formation of the chasm on my site
@CreationMinistries i did and it is totally bogus, not a single shred of evidence can be used to support it. As for the *strata* it can be explained by a rise in the colorado plateau ~65million years ago which steepened the flow of water creating 2 different courses of erosion.
Coming from someone who thinks the layers in the grand canyon, which aren't sorted by their properties in water, were laid down by a single hydrological event.
Say this aloud, maybe you can get an idea of how insane it sounds to the non-creationists
"The strata layers which aren't sorted at all by their properties in water were laid down all at once by water"
A gloal flood erases old-earth beliefs which is why old-earthers must deny the event - 2 Peter 3:3-6 foretells this would be the case in the latter days
Secular geology, which MUST deny the global flood as it erases old-earth beliefs, has NO VIABLE way to explain Grand Canyon's formation. It obviously formed quickly.
Old-earth beleifs are based on the earth's strata layers having formed slowly. The flood explains how they formed quickly eroding old-earth beliefs - the foundation for Secular Humanism. So the flood must ne denied as foretold in 2 Pete 3:3-6
@CreationMinistries 'The flood explains how they formed quickly eroding old-earth beliefs'
No it doesn't, once more, the strata are not at all sorted according to their properties in water. It's not that a flood is denied it's that it's not evidenced while also being contradicted by the evidence that does exist.
@CreationMinistries 'Secular geology, which MUST deny the global flood as it erases old-earth beliefs'
How does it do that? Is there a 'flood by date' on earth?
'It obviously formed quickly.'
Except that nothing indicates it did and everything indicates it didn't. You haven't even tried to explain how a flood laid down the layers separated with no hydrological sorting at all.
@CreationMinistries - Since you obviously do not study history, so you might not be aware of this, so let me help you. What brought about the demise of Noah's Flood as a scientific theory, didn't come from Charles Lyell. Instead, it was catastrophists like Adam Sedgwick, William Buckland, Murchison, Greenbough and more who came to the conclusion that no evidence of Noah's Flood exists. The death nail came with Louis Agassiz discovered the Ice Age theory. It's evidencce that matter.
About the only positive thing to say about this video, it was short. I am not quite sure what images of a mountain in Alberta has to do with the Grand Canyon, however finding folds in rock features is not a challenge to modern geologist. One does love a little heat and pressure. Having explored the GC many times and study real flood sites, there is simply too many features (and fossils) that is simply impossible if a flood did it. Once again this is bad geology to justify a bad theology.
@lawilson200 Based on your "expertise" of Grand Canyon...Please explain the mile deep missing layers of strata from atop the rim - gone from Bryce and Zion to the Gulf. You probably have never even geen told of these missing layers as there is no viable explantaion other than a global flood which erodes old earth belifs. Rel science - a Christians best friend

So let's clear this up, Russ. Which part of 'the cheetah is the only species to show signs of a bottleneck on the species level' aren't you understanding?
Because at this point there is no legitimate argument for the flood, there is only not understanding the refutations of the flood.
To anyone with any intellectual honesty and/or remotely interested in reality, the facts presented in these videos;
/watch?v=rIlWKp44T50
/watch?v=_sD_7rxYoZY
make it perfectly clear that there was no global flood.
It just amazes me that some people feel comfortable commenting on molecular biology or genetics when they can't understand the fact that only a single species that shows signs of a significant botleneck complete refutes the idea that we were all bottlenecked.
You have perfectly separated layers of sandstone, shale, limestone etc. in nothing even resembling their orders in relation to density. When you mix a bunch of flood detritus together and let it settle, you get whats known as graded bedding, we don't see anything close to graded bedding in the grand canyon.
1: Noah's ark/flood is as completely refuted by genetics today as it was yesterday; /watch?v=rIlWKp44T50
2: The strata in the grand canyon is not even close to anything resembling being sorted by their collective properties in water
3: The layers aren't broken because of a process known as angular unconformity, if they were still 'soft mud' (they weren't mud) they would not have remained completely separate as they have.
@CreationMinistries You're harming christianity more than any 'compromiser' and that'd be fine by me if you weren't also preaching scientific ignorance to do it. Kids these days don't want to be a christian if it means being scientifically illiterate.
"As a biology teacher I came to hear what you would spew from your mouth against science. What you revealed was I had been lied to. As a result I gave my life back to God and now teach science in a Christian school." Amy in AZ "
@CreationMinistries Now, seeing as how there is not only no evidence of a worldwide bottleneck of all organisms but actually only evidence against it in the form of millions of widely varied and very healthy genomes what can we objectively conclude regarding a claim of supposed bottlenecks?
@TheScienceFoundation Do you ever get anything right? Can you spell your name? Amazing to find someone so consistanlty foolish. @CreationMinistries I've gotten everything right and you've made that pretty obvious by being able to do nothing but throw around a thinly veiled insult and some random and vague quotes from Jim and Mary. Which part of my refutation of the flood was inaccurate and how so? The genetic argument regarding the consequences of a bottleneck? The geological argument regarding graded bedding? Be specific.
@TheScienceFoundation You've gotten everything right? I've missed it all. Drats. Dr. Rick Oliver and I speak together. He was an evolutionary biology professor until he finally admitted there was zero basis for Darwinian delusions. Now he's an outspoken Christian. Your side may own the system, afterall, Satan is the god of this world, however, we own the facts as Jesus is Creator, Redeemer & Judge to whom every knee shall bow
@CreationMinistries Then try re-reading everything I've said here, it all refutes everything you've said. I notice you dodged my questions once again regarding population bottlenecks. While you show no skill at anything resembling intelligent discussion something you do show marginal proficiency at is throwing red herring.
@CreationMinistries Already have, I had to mirror them just to allow comment and refutation. The fact that you censor them is a pretty strong indication of your realizing how utterly pathetic they are.
Or how pathetic you are....I know what my choice is. I really feel bad for you - I mean the way you follow me around like a sad little puppy dog is heartbreaking. New videos up in a few minutes - have a nice day sending you non-read messages to me
I think there is medication for this.

Not very convincing.

@CreationMinistries Let's set this out once more
You're claiming a drastic bottleneck occurred in the population of all species.
Now, do we know what happens when a population is bottlenecked?
Yes, IE all Wisent (European buffalo) descended from 12 members from the early 1900s, their genetic variability is next to non-existent.
Do we see anything even resembling such an affliction to genetic variation across all species?
Not even close
Which part of that don't you understand?
