My door uses a button on the outside, and a lock lever and button on the inside. Both buttons are OR'd into a T flip-flop, and then AND'd with the level and connected to the door. Allows you to lock the door with the lever, and then either button on either side will open and close the doors when unlocked.

sorry, but this is a very bad design. Once you're inside you need a hole in the wall to get out. Plus, you need two people to get in, and once one is in, the other can't get in. I recommend you look at some of the better videos out there. I may be posting one of 4 buttons that have to be pushed a certain number of times each. As in, you push one button 4 times, another 3, another 7, and another 2 and then a door opens. If you push one the wrong amount of times, it stays locked.

I made a small sample puzzle with my trap/puzzle thing.

I made a small house with 2 buttons hidden in it. these two buttons were connect to a RS NOR thingy and those two RS NOR's connected to an AND gate. That AND get was also connect to a RS NOR. So when put together. When both buttons are pressed the twon RS's are activated, activating the AND gate wich activates the other RS NOR thing that opens up the door. Then a pressure plate resets it and you are trapped in the next room. Pain to hide it

To everyone asking how you'd get out, you could simply have a separate button inside that opens the door by itself. To keep the lock in working order, you'd wire both that button and the final output of the lock circuit to the two inputs of an OR gate. That way, if you press the button the output is true (door opens) or if the lever's set to unlocked and both buttons are pressed, the output is also true (yeah you get it)
