The plyovents are great when used unlike in this video and the engine did not leave room in front of the house for the truck. other than that the video was good.
the only vehicle that didnt have it on was the truck, both the ambulance and the engine had them on. There was no need for the stick at this fire. thanks for watching and commenting, be good be safe.
the yellow tubes. those are called plymo vents, they take the exaust from the truck when the truck starts and starts moving, it follows or tags along with the ex. pipe to the door and then releases. it's a health thing. look up plymo vent exuast systems for more info.
Hi! Which character did your Dad play in the movie? I have loved this movie even before it ever came out on video. Firefighters are the truest form of the word HERO.
OK. My dad was was in the movie, but not as a character, he was one of the ff's that was in the funeral procession when Axe and Steven died, that big group, he was part of that.
Backdraft is one of my favourite films and I love the soundtrack to it, I think it's one of the best movie soundtracks ever. Well done for putting this video together, good work!
Same here. My father was in that movie. he was in the funeral procession through chicago when steven and axe died. Thanks for the comment and being a frequent watcher.
You're welcome! It's cool that your father was in Backdraft, it's an awesome movie. The funeral procession is really powerful stuff. Keep the videos coming and thanks for uploading the ones you have so far!
Wow, that's cool that your dad was in the movie. While my dad wasn't, I did/do know Chief Burns (CFD) and he was in the movie, too. He played the Battalion Chief at the Fire when Steven quits E17. I first met Chief Burns when he was with OFI. Great guy.
