I kinda of dont agree, I think Megadeth wrote better "songs" from the start. I can listen to all megadeth albums upto yoothinasia all the way through with no problems. I def cant do that with ride the lighning or Kill em all. Even And justice only has a few really good songs.

Metallica stood for metal though, they were strong and the mix was just perfect. Even though I think their music now sounds more dated than megadeth, they deserve to be on top.
