I got a strategy. Buy as many engineer and put it in the back of the enemy base. After the enemy structure are captured, sell all of it or keep it. But you need backup for the enginners you sent. This strategy can work on empire, soviet, and allies.

If you can use alot of money, upgrade the whole thing, motherboard, CPU, GPU (graphic) and RAM.

If you cant use alot of money, upgrade your CPU to at least 2.5 Ghz

And get a new GPU, a ATI HD4850 is "cheap" and more than enough.

NOTE: Make shure your motherboard supports the CPU and GPU!!!(!!!!)

If you dont know how, ask a retailer, they know what to do.

Hm.. well quoting the RA3 strat guide, the weakness in the Empire is their inability to tech quickly. Playing as Soviets, focus purely on teching up as fast a possible. Then over power them with Soviets superior units. :P

holy shit RA3 is soooo freakin awesome (though the Allied navy is a little imbalanced because of the hydrofoil's power that shuts down weapons") but my game crashes every time i finish 8th soviet mision and 3rd allied :(

As you can see, he did not ever mention about how to play empire of the rising sun single player at all. I've been waiting since episode 12. He did for Russia and Allied. Why? He does not know how to give a good tactics with Japan! The new faction in this game got gypped and he had to wait for 1.07 patch. Good job EA!
