Your clean new oil will be contaminated as soon as you start the bike. There is still old dirty oil in the system (anything up to 1 litre). Try using a Rogue Choppers Scavenger system for a 100% complete oil change.
@DmakAttack we usually just clean the bolt and the area around the case where it goes in and that usually keeps her in there pretty tight. locktight can be a bitch getting off next oil change. not saying its not a good idea just sharing my own opinion.
If H-D suggest that, it'll work but I would say that is really just a back up.
I would try to stick to better quality oil abd synthetic is probably the way to go - although that tends to be dearer, with the best for H-D's coming from the states generally, but check around.
@MediaGlow Just a bit of precision. After a little talk with a certified french HD mechanics, I learned you can use 100% synthetic 20W50 oil. He told me you can use such oil on a Dyna Fat Bob and have absolutely no problem.
Thank you for this video, it was very interesting! I have a question though: what other oil would you recommend, aside from the (absolutely overpriced) HD oil?
I looked in my manual, and it says (rough translation in English, because I'm French): "If no standard HD oil is available, please use diesel engine oil." So, what does that mean? Anything like 10W40 or 20W40 could fit? Thanks and have a good day!
Excellent video thanks!

@BeerBandito99 Agree completely - I assume you are selling these scavenger systems - but certainly worth considering.

@MediaGlow > NO i am not selling them. I use one for my oil changes and was blown away by how much leftover dirty oil it removed.
