Very cool. Good leverage. If you can make it fold flat ( the blade and handle in the same plane as the wheel) then storage would. Be pretty easy. Good job!
@aspen1443 Your back would kill you if you didn't. His back probably feels great. This used the power of leverage and that big wheel can go over anything. I bet he could of even had a shovel twice as wide and got a nice arm workout.
i have used one for two years now (that looks like an older model btw)..but I can beat many snowblowers.. look on amazon if you dont believe one or two comments. but throwing wet, heavy or deep snow is loads easier than with shovel..like a sea saw, you use your body to lift/throw..can make piles 4-5 feet high.. cant do that with a shovel with dying...weird looking but rocks..
I just finished removing 18 inches of snow from my driveway, so this is a subject dear to my heart. This gimick - though ingenious - would not have worked on my driveway. The snow in question had to be lofted over a three foot hedge. Also, the Wovel procedure looks like it's tough on the back. How about a gasoline powered Wovel?
Looks good for shoveling a driveway, but what about sidewalks? Since the wovel can only throw snow straight ahead in front of itself, it seems like shoveling off a sidewalk would require a lot of scoop, swivel, throw, swivel back, scoop, swivel, throw, swivel back, etc.
OK this is from the movie and did it work for you in heavy wet snow when it comes to throwing it? hehe I do like the concept of this though.I can not wait to try this out. See my vid on this Mark
I use my wovel to clear a two car, 150', asphalt drive. The last snow me with 6" to deal with. Took half an hour burning calories, not gas. It does attract attention. Have you used the small wheel attachment?
looks good to me.

this is the best shovel for shoveling that big 2" dump. I'd use a kids sandbox shovel before I used the wovel
