62 in 8 overs was certainly possible. Only when you have some batting left, but not with only 5 batsmen . Absence of major all-rounders created the difference.
Dont take me wrong but Pakistan would have won that Quarter final, if they had wasim, saqlain instead of ataur rahman and mushtaq ahmed... At that time, Pakistan had not included new inventions like Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq. You can't chase 289 with only 5 batsmen. Fot this, you should have a long batting line-up with handy all-rounders in the late order. Like what we have today in the form of Abdul Razzaq and Shahid Afridi
what a great video of great player.the most underrated keeper in history.what a keeper he was.genius with gloves.and a good batsman.i think he even himself underrated his batting ability the guy could bat for sure.legend . in my eyes true legend and an honest man as well.love him absolutely love him.
@CorneredTigerUK and I have always had sheer respect for Rashid because he is one of the very few Pakistani cricketers who played under a corrupt captain and system but never let the bad apple rot them.

@CorneredTigerUK I don't need to ask any ex
I am a cricket fan myself
and I love Pakistani cricketers in general, without any regional biases
and Rashid as I said earlier is the most reliable behind the stump, while Moin and Akmal both had many sloppy patches with the gloves.
But both Akmal and Moin were superior as compared to Rashid when it comes to batting...
