drexus the things jumping out of the water are called pizza monsters from the episode attack of the killer pizza i think its called they were hatched from eggs baxter stockman grew and he put them on pizzas on display for a raffle going on he faked them winning the contest meaning he pulled three names and said rapheal donatello and michealangelo they gave april one and when she put it in the microwave for her and erma to share the egg hatched and the thing at the pizza lol
@cb19882000 Ahh, rings a bell now you mention it. :) I used to love the turles and collect the comics etc as a kid; must have missed that particular episode. :)
@cyanidebreathmintz Cool. :) I wish I could get a copy sometime but this one's usually fairly expensive and harder to get a hold of for some reason. I spent many an hour on the snes version as a kid, utter classic and being a turtle fan didn't hurt either. :)
@DANW547 You and me both mate it was a great time for gaming. People can sometimes be funny about emulating but for arcade games it's most people's only option and tbh to appreciate and keep the memory of these classics alive I think it's a good thing. :) Konami sure did make some great games they were (still are??) a great company, I was always amazed at the constant top quality of their games back in the 90s.
Great 1st part Daz, love the speech in this one cracks me up lol yeah in that last level you got to with the rock men if i remember correctly the boss on the snes is a dude with spikes on his back and you can only defeat him by getting behind him and giving him a slap. Btw you should have a snesometer in the corner to count how many times you say snes lol
@Snestastic I wasn't sure if that dinosaur level boss was the same as the snes version, I remember the one you mean now; I wonder why they changed if for the snes? I do miss the early shredder boss encounter from the snes version though where you had to throw the bad guys into him, that was a cool bit. :)
As for the snes counter, I'd hate to think what that would have ended on lol. :)
How do u make this rom work? Because it keeps saying "BAD!"

Turtles in Time is such an awesome game for any number of reasons, my personal favourite being that it abbreviates to TIT... awesome!!!
Definitely better than the console ports but I guess that goes without saying, this came out in the glory days of UK arcades, man I miss those times.

"prepare to die" you sounded like richard nixon daz lol I had no idea this exsisted for the arcade, gotta get this for my mame cab :)

@Snestastic Richard Nixon? Lol, maybe I should have tried to do Richard Nixon and it would sound like Krang then. ;)
Tbh I didn't know it was released in the arcade either, a pleasant surprise really as it's a cracking game and damn good fun and well polished.
