Bike was only a few days old. The strips were gone long before it even hit the track. While I love to get sideways, I don't quite understand why people get crap for having strips on their tires.
Your welcome, and kool, didn't know if you would know or not but would taking the silencer out of the pipe with a power comander on the bike mess anything up?
Taking the silencer out actually is necessary to get the most out of the power gains. I ended up adding a Bazzaz unit and had it dyno tuned. With that done and adding the Z-Bomb to give me back my top end, I gained a total of 7 HP. I would definitely suggest that for any 09-11+ bike. The power difference can definitely be felt.
And Without the DB insert how it sound like ?
