I hate "techno" over here in America they still play that crap...such rubish...LOL. Jungle took so long to come onto the charts back in the 90's when it did it was the commericial shit. I remember playing my Jungle tapes from England for my friends..they were like what the f#*%$ is that...LOL
To MC pures Comment . Im 15yo inta Dnb inda usa and your Comment was dnb shouldnt blow in da US. i hope not anyway. they will just take it and make thier own sound with it and claim that they invented it. thats what they always do with everything. fuck the USA standard . OMFG your so rite its actualy sickining :P
what's the point of playing the whole thing live if the music sounds like it's coming from a casio keyboard. Kind of ridiculous. In the end the spectacle became the flashing lights and people jumping up and down.
This is the direction for the electronica PA. Roni Size does this to some extent with Full Cycle Live but the fusion of conventional and electronic instruments is where it's at. It has more crossover appeal and keeps the crown engaged.
Hey, thanx for defending the video, but I don't really recognize Pcasey69s comment as negative. FUKT, as well as Full Cycle, uses both conventional and electronic instruments live.
Sorry if it was a tad harsh larshalvorsen, I just find people who turn on the intellectual bit irritating when musicians have obviously practiced there balls off to become this tight. When musicians are a performing, whether they're using a "fusion of conventional and electronic instruments" its either good or its bad. I thought these dudes nailed it.
Don't be hatin' just because I used a few big words. We both agree they rocked it. If dnb is ever to blow up in the US then this type of PA is the way to do it.

dnb is getting bigger in america. uk drum n bass has always been played in some clubs in new york.
but when they first started playing dnb in usa they put the music in the TECHNO genre and a few early american drum n bass producers started makinng dnb with 4/4 beats which is house or techno!!
um, the UK press and club scene ignored Jungle for the first couple years until the hits started coming. Then producers backed off ragga and it turned back into techno all by itself; 2 step, "intelligent jungle", ambient LTJ Bukem crap, etc. Don't blame America for that. Nothing will beat original UK Jungle. And just like jungle, the best grime comes from the city. Lets not have "ambient grime", OK?

just to be clear - 100% live and 100% danish, no sequencer, no computer - just fucked up danes :D
120% OK
fist2200 3 years ago
i see an apple laptop in alot of shots
probobly with sequencing software on it
not to say its not 120% OK
whatever that is
TMVmucho123 2 years ago
not necessarily doing any sequencing. lots of guys are using laptops onstage like a stomp box... purely a dsp, triggered with pedals.
and i guess 120% OK means like SUPER OK!! haha europeans talk funny
