I made a new texture brush that laid a snail skin sorta pattern according to brush angle.

It's very nice that aviScreen classic 1,3, just, when I am recording is a little slow and it does not let me work. And, when I record.. how much must be the "size" of the file? ... you can make a tutorial on it?

make sure to change the "frames per second" to 1 and choose a fairly small video codec. Video capture is no small task for a computer, and you have to choose your settings wisely.

I use aviScreen classic 1.3 for the capture and then I use adobe Premiere to add music and speed it up. I hope this helps. Thanks to all for your comments :)

Man, I'm gonna gush now, so people who don't like effusive praise please look away. Jesus, man! This was truly amazing and strangely...moving! A snail...emotionally earth shattering? Must've been the music, perfectly timed, kudos on that.

I watched the girl riding on the giant also, and what is amazing is that each time I think it looks great you go back and change things little by little until it is just perfect (oddly enough it's like watching you sculpt on screen).

That atttention to detail is what truly makes you an artist. And how do manage ALL those layers! Your imagination is what truly sends you far and above macpulenta (though I'm sure you're not in competition with him, and I love that guy, too). Dude, what do you do for a living. Do you teach? If you don't you should, don't hoard the muses!

The two cannot be compared in my opinion. Macpulenta is proficient with his ability to draw people. This is really all we have seen of Macpulenta thus far, and "pimpofpixels" draws more of a creative fantasy piece. They are both unique and highly skilled what they do.

I think it's much better to learn how to draw something and then draw it once, than to draw something once without learning how.

I think you evolved, but perpection would be if all those 3d and other lines woud be in your head, and you would not experiment with different parts of painting. If you would master experimentation in your head I think painting would come out faster. I read something similar about Nikola Tesla.

At this point it is more about getting practice than it is about the drawing. I am more stisfied when I think I've learned something then when I feel that I've made a good piece. But yes, learning how to visualize something is the ultimate goal of any artist.

Another amazing piece (i seem to be saying that for all of your artwork). I think you got this one just right, the detail on the snails shell and skin was amazing, the house was almost perfect (House may of been abit bright?) and i like the way you have done the weather/sky differently than you usually do, well done!

good, just practice, learn the hot keys so that you never have to look at the menu. Then you can focus on the drawing
