How come you left out The Toolbox Murders(2004)? Or did you not care for it? I consider it to be Tobe Hoopers true masterpiece and easily a top 10 movie of this past decade.
Let The Right One In isn't just one of my favourite horror movies, but one of my favourite movies of all time! Great recommendation there!!! Sadly overlooked by ignorant TWILIGHT fans too.
Let the Right One In and Session 9 were excellent. House of a Thousand Corpses was the superior Rob Zombie film. Maybe it's not an original concept but I thought it was fairly well-executed. I was also a big fan of the first half of Death Proof.
Could you name me some nice zombie/ghost or just freaking creepy movies released during 2008/2009 :)? Having some days off and could really use some nice horror movies :) Thanks
Wow, I can't say I saw any good zombie movies from 08 or 09. The Orphanage was pretty good as far as a ghost movie is concerned. If you haven't seen Let the Right One In, I'd highly recommend that.
Great video pizowell. I just recorded one of these videos last night as well. I tried to keep mine under 10 minutes and it ended up being almost 30 minutes LoL. Hopefully I can have that up tomorrow or Friday. 7 of your picks ended up being in my list.
LTROI was awesome! Like you said the hype was appropriate. Inside is great too. These lists seem to all have most of the same films. Seems like we have had to wade through a sea of shit just to find some good flicks! Great list.
yes its a hard question ,i saw american psycho a year or so again, not one of my faves but,a good movie, ive got 'behind the mask' on order also one called 'bleed' ,movies i wasn't sure about ordering but had some good recces off people off youtube.
Yay Session 9 - that movie got totally overlooked when it was released. 28 Days & Weeks Later were phenomenal. As close to horror classics as you can get in my opinion.
Excellent choices and reviews! I thought Frailty was one of the most underrated horrors of this time. No one seems to give it credit, probably due to McConaughey being the crap actor he usually is. May is another forgotten movie, good choice. Bubba Ho-tep was hilarious, i'm hoping Bubba Nosferatu comes soon.

What do you think of the remakes to "The Last House on The Left", "My Bloody Valentine 3D" and "Hills Have Eyes" or what about "Hostel"?
Johnlindsey289 2 years ago
As remakes go, Last House wasn't bad. MBV 3D was nothing special. Hills Have Eyes I haven't seen since it was in theaters. Hostel is okay.
pizowell 2 years ago
You think the original Last House is better? and maybe you should re-rent Hills Have Eyes 2006 on DVD in it's uncut version.
Johnlindsey289 2 years ago
Honestly, I haven't seen the original Last House in like 10 years, so I'd have to give it another look.
