  • Great track work. Very smooth. The essence of the model Railroader, in a way.

  • I like the hand of God changing the points. He also works some of mine for me.

  • good video

  • Who cares about a little noise? We're running trains, why on Earth would anyone want them to be silent? I personally like to hear the trains roll....

  • Yes leewaa, I 'm completely agree with you. That´s noisy a lot !.

That happens when people do not take all the necessary time for research and learn about, before start building a layout !

This guy obviously do not know that exist something called "cork roadbed", for laying under the rails -before join all the rails together- that avoids all this annoying noise.

  • @jhonny1392 cork roadbed does not always dampen sound too good. Its better to use foam.

  • @jhonny1392 yer.....and can you fit a DCC decoder into a n guage loco???.....I very much doubt it.....noise is good.....railways in real life arn't silent!!!

  • @EWS37109 Of course you can fit a DCC decoder into an N gauge loco, most of the newer Farrish offerings are now DCC ready and Peco offers a GWR 2251 Class ‘Collett Goods’ 0-6-0 Locomotive in N which comes with DCC fitted as standard. So why the sneering tone when you clearly have no knowledge of the subject?

  • @dangerbod yes....you mis understood my comment!!!....I was replying jhonny1392!!!!.....I know it is possible to fit n gauge dcc decoders becasue you have shown us!!!....but i was a bit annoyed at his comment to you...about the noise....who cares about noise.....its good!!!...realistic!!!

yup....I have got a dapol 66 and it has a 6pin plug....might think about dcc......what controller do you use???

  • @EWS37109 Sorry if I misunderstood, I haven't yet, I'm about to start building a layout, first in more years than I care to remember and have made the decision to go DCC, but as it will be N I'm still pondering what to go with. Must have been someone else who posted , not me lol

  • Could I have your trackplans for an idea please?

  • man thats noisy!

  • Runs pretty good for Graham Farish.

  • Why the train which goes from depot rides slow like snail? :D

    BTW, good video :)

  • What does DCC stand for?

  • @Bumblefrenzy dcc is digital control

  • Digital Command Control

  • with all those points were there any or much wiring required, as im starting out in n gauge dcc myself

  • can someone please tell me what dcc is?

  • dcc is digital controll, enabling you to run trains simultaneously on one unit.

  • How easy is it to set N Gauge up for DCC and what decoders do you use , would a standard Hornby decoder fit in.

  • na for n gauge you use a slimmer decoder, that is more rectangular that fits in the loco

  • I put a hornby decoder in a BachFar class 57 a while ago, just to test it and it worked. I was using the Select controller too!! But now I have a DIgitrax super chief and I use Digitrax DZ125 decoders, though some of my older ones are DZ123.

  • awesome

im selling my OO Gauge for N Gauge =)

    got any pointers/tips for me?

    good vid

  • great video i subed!

  • Good to see the hand of god there! Nice layout barks!

  • Good layout!
