Just finished my undergrad degree today feels like yesterday when I got here at Iowa and now its just another chapter closed in my life.. Goes by way to fast just wish I could go back and relive some of the great moments over the last 3 and half years here.
All I can remember is that I was the woman who blinked and seen that life had flew by and my better half of 23 years was on his death bed and I prayed every night he would make it to the next day and when I finally rested for about 2 hrs woke up to find that he was at his last days....the next 6 days were spent in the hospital awaiting his last days on this good earth....and he was an is a godly man and is in heaven....how someone who has not experienced this and put it in a song is beyond me.

My great grandpa died at 101 years old 12 years ago on his birthday, I cried at funeral when I was only 6 because I had just realized he was my Grandfather, and I never got to meet him. I'm 16, and I wish that when I go to heaven when I'm 100 I'll get to meet him.

I am about to be 16. I just want things to just slow down. I remember being 5 years old and wanting to be 16 already. Now I'm wishing I could go back to being 5.. I was always told "Never want to grow up. Stay young while you can." I never understood that until now. I realize that being young is so much more easier. I turned 18 on December 8th and I so wish everything would slow down. I remember being 10 and thinking "I can't wait until I'm grown up and do things on my own." Well now I'm 18, going off to college in less than a month, and have a job, and am expected to act like an adult. I wish time wouldn't have gone by so fast.

All I can remember is that I was the woman who blinked and seen that life had flew by and my better half of 23 years was on his death bed and I prayed every night he would make it to the next day and when I finally rested for about 2 hrs woke up to find that he was at his last days....the next 6 days were spent in the hospital awaiting his last days on this good earth....and he was an is a godly man and is in heaven....how someone who has not experienced this and put it in a song is beyond me.
