Oh hello! Have you heard about - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin got ripped Six pack abs and lost lots of fat with it.
you know you are doing leg raises right depending on how your abs feels.... this exercise really makes them burn when you get the hang of it, i like to start with my legs straight, and once i cant do them then i switch to knees up till i reach muscular failure hehe... great exercise for really building up those abs and gaining serious core strenght

depends what you do...i had the same prob...i had some extra fat and i used to run a lot ride a bike but when i got slimmer i lost my muscles...just stop doing any exercise that includes a lot sweating just eat a lot and go only to a gym and do only exercises that includes lifting a lot weight....
Nooooooo! They do not! To get a good workout try mixing up which body parts you use to power the machine like, pull on the handles for 1 min, push for one min, focus on legs for one min, go backwards for one min etc.
@bigbang1001 the only way to know you are burning lots of calories is on how challenging the workout feels and how hard you are working... if you are just going through the motions then dont expect any big results... or results at all..
Make sure you use something to clean those straps with before using at your local gym, I caught a nasty fungal infection in my arm pits a few years back...not pleasant at all.
Otherwise it sure is a great ab workout, just remember to control the lowering motion.

we rehearsed and I knew I wasn't going to be able to do the exercises, that's why in the beginning my eyes look all creepy and I"m like starring at the camera haha
but what i'm wondering is , if i have a tummy (not obese, but nothing near flat) and i want to get rid of it , i should be exercising and eating more healthy and tone up , but not just tone up right ?
because my tummy won't get any slimmer even if i have nice muscles under that fat ?
you are correct. Working out your abs CAN help you have a flatter tummy because the more muscle that you have on your frame, the more fat you will burn naturally. But cardio and diet are the best ways to bust fat. You can have really strong abs, but no1 will be able to see them if they are hidden under fat. hope that helps.
If you have fat (even if it's not an obscene amount) your abs won't really be visible. So even if you sculpt your abs to perfection, you're the only one who will know. Just eat right and do plenty of cardio to lose the extra padding and once you're down to a good body fat percentage, start up on the ab exercises. I've found swimming to be one of the best cardio exercises there is. If you don't have access to a pool, biking is wonderful as well. Hope this helps = )
Or they could do the ab workouts in conjunction with cardio. That way, their abs are readily toned once the weight comes off. But you are right, if one feels he can only do one of these exercises for now, then cardio is the way to go.

Uhm, I'm not an expert, but there are horizontal bars which you can fix inside of your door case. So if you have a door, which leads to a stair, it could possibly work. :)
I have the door frame chin up thing and it works with a REALLY STABLE chair underneath. I use the chair for assistance getting up there since I'm short and it's a high door, but I tried it today and it definitely helps!
Also you can do them on one of those standing up things in the gym where you rest your forearms on cushions and put your back against another cushiony thing and let your legs hang.
