Another BronzeBird! A rare colour introduced about May '68 to boost yearend sales. Stachji's car colour looks like Aut. Brnz. Met. The original colour had a bit of a brown/red tinge and when my I-code car was repainted in '79, the then-owner substituted a close '74 FORD(!) bronze. It didn't make the car go faster. I've seen about 5 '68 Firebirds and 1 GTO in this colour in 27 years. Get used to being told that you have a nice "rust-coloured" car!
im so jealous. my dad bought a 68 with the 428 when i was 9 for 1500 bucks but traded it for my cousins chevelle for my sister to drive. until she wrecked it. i miss that firebird so f***ing much.
Great color!!! Something different. I got a 68 FB 400 as well! Have owned it for twenty-two and a half years and still love it like the day I first saw it! Enjoy your ride, because you know what's cool!
The colour looks close to 1968 Pontiac Autumn Bronze metallic, like my 68 FB 400. Its nice to see one again. My car has been in the garage for over 10 years, sigh. Sounds like you have some trapped air bubbles in your power steering pump. Enjoy your ride.
Sweet color, sweet paint, sweet rims, sweet fucken ride.I have a 62 Biscayne but 60's camaros and firebirds are nice when done right, and yours is just right, in my eyes. My dad had one when I was 5, wish he had'nt sold it.
What size are the rims and tires?
