Thanks for the nice words! Its been a couple of years since i recorded this piece. Maybe i should remake mr. Ammons hit song once more... Stay tuned and stay with me folks! I'l be back :-P
Rollingbass: I first heard this song by Albert Ammons back in the 1980's on the radio. I never could find a copy for myself, and so I moved on. When I discovered your version here on YouTube I literally jumped for joy. I have since heard this song by Mr. Ammons and I honestly like your version better. Very good work Tomas. You make this boogie flow smoothly, as you say, from your heart to the keys. I will always listen to your great music! Thank you for posting.
I dont know how anyone can click the 'dislike' button for this, i've listened to Albert's boogie woogie stomp a hundred times and this is as a brilliant cover. Nice one Rolling Bass
Hi Tomas...Nice playing fella! As for comments regarding the piano,it sounds fine to me. That's a venerable tone that comes with age and is just right for boogie woogie. I notice the front panel has been removed too,as it should be. years ago,Winnie Atwell searched London to find one like that and took it everywhere she played. So you play by ear! So did Pinetops Smith..Doc'Johnson and several other masters. They didn't know the dots, but they knew their way around the 88s. Regards..UK.
great playing! its a little to stiff though, you gotta get more swing to it! other than that this is a really hard one to learn and its amazing you can do it!
Just incredible. great playing! I am learning Pinetop's BW right now but I'm really interested in what your left hand is doing on this piece. Can you please tell me what the pattern(notes) is in your left hand. Much appreciated.
Great that you're making so much progess..compare to the first one..you have that left hand under control..keep practising and you'll see you'll get to a point you can't stop playing lol :D
Now when You have reached this level, I'll bet Your working on that darn half-impossible-to-play chorded walking bass line in the end of the song also :-)

But no worries. I still liked it!
