I do keep them separated. Salty my rat lives in a large glass aquarium type enclosure. Unfortunately, Pepper is not smart enough to know that Salty is not a toy!
@black950mage My cat pepper and Cicero Both Get along with the rats. Villain And momo. but momo died last month and pepper is at my paren'ts house so Cicero adn Villain and Mocha the rabbit get along just fine. But Villain the rat Bites Mocha too much!

but mines a boy and i've had him for about a year and a half..hes very good. he doesn't do anything bad that i've seen. ^^ i love my kitty Pepper! :)
