Michael Monroe has a "new" band. It includes the guitarist Jimmy Clark and the bass Sami Yaffa from Demolition 23. They play under Michaels name so they can now play the best songs of Monroe, Demolition 23 and Hanoi Rocks.

The band has David "Ginger" Walls, Sami Yaffa, Michael Monroe, Todd Youth ja Jimmy Clark. Awesome, huh!

@vanhasmatti Saw them at rock city nottingham in april. Fantastic. But it was a bit crap they only played for an hour and a half.

I heard it was because Mike was suffering/recovering from some kind of food poisoning.

Most likely meaning a drug mishap or something

Im glad Hanoi never made it huge cos they have a real hardcore fanbase who always love them and its much more intimate gigs that are special, gonna miss them so much though!

REALLY pissde about that. these are one of the only great 80's bands that are still great live.

Hammersmith Palais

its called hammersmith palais, by demolition 23, fronted by micheal monroe, and was one of the greatest bands of the 90's. only one album, and one tour, but absolutely timeless rock'n'roll.

best album of the decade, in my opinion.

and hanoi r still an excellent band today. i saw them live last yr at nottingham rock city, and they were amazing. u can tell that micheal has had a bit of a nip/tuck. but he still looks great, sounds great and has fantastic presence onstage. cool as fuck! this was 1 of the best albums of the 90's, from 1 of the best bands of the 90's. shame they didnt do more, they just never took off for sum strangely wierd reason, could never understand it, really, as evryone i knew back then had this album?

yes, exactly wot music, certainly rock'n'roll anyway, should be.... FUN. sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. bands that follow that credo r normally the coolest; these guys and hanoi, of course, motley crue, new york doll's, faster pussycat (until taime downe turned goth), and all those guys r just sooooo cool. true rock stars, sumthing that u never see now is a true rock star, unless its an old band, like these or aerosmith or sumthing. excellent post
