What's Don Johnson doing these days and more importantly what is TV waiting for in preparing his return? All I heard years back was that he was going through financial troubles in real life. During his time on Miami Vice I always thought highly of him as an actor, someone who helped you forget you were watching people acting. Never boring or overdone, just really into it and invited the viewer to go along for the wild ride; and what a ride. We want a comeback!

Best Cop show ever!!! If there was no Miami Vice there probably would be no CSI. There were cop shows before and after Miami Vice but, I think it set a whole new standard for tv that can never be matched again. That is: no show will ever raise the bar the way this one did. They set the standard pretty high and anything after can only follow. It's like going on after Hendrix: You'd better have a damn good show to follow that and even if you do you can never show him up.

I preferred Season 3 to Season 2. The darkness of Season 3 made for generally better stories. There was a little too much fluff in Season 2 for me. Too many goofy "celebrity cameos" and mediocre stories. Of course Season 1 was still the best. We won't talk about Seasons 4 and 5.
