Great band but I think I recognized a little of the theme from Hawaii 5-0 in there. At some point you may as well call it something else.

This is played and arranged very exceptionally well, even reminiscent of the Mingus Big Band at several points, but this is, at best, "Variations on the Theme of Get Smart." It kind of sketches AROUND it but never really segues into the full-out head.

I really TRIED to get into it, but this mess is totally unrecognizable as the Get Smart theme. But then again, jazz is like sex, only feels good to the one doing it.

Have to agree. Jazz is usually 5 guys playing 6 different songs. The fact that it's a whole orchestra playing different songs changes little.

It was horrible.
