my alty is almost like that. just missing the tuned ecu. where did you get yours? how much? i have the 97 block with the 93 heads. just looking for bigger maf and throttle body next. those are cheap and easy to find.

Get the Cobra MAF around 300 bucks, and get a JWT ECU, their like 600 bucks, but their well worth it. You can find both of these on JWT website :)

likewise, you can say what you want on how bad the vtec engines are, the fact remains that nissan (and mazda) are the bottom of the crapshoot jap cars anywhere in the continent. even my dimbulb cousin can figure that out by looking at nissan's poor sales figures, low resale value compared to other japs and the # of cars they've axled over da years. hondas and toyos have high resale value due 2 their reliable designs. if yr mechanic finds it hard to fix a vtec maybe it's time to go back school

oh really because the new turbo cobalt makes 260hp and 260ft/lb of torque stock. NO HONDA 4 cylinder can match that. In fact there highest output 4 cylinder makes half the torque of that! idk what u drive but i know it cant be that great stock.

260 whopping hp from a TURBO cobalt. Shit, i bring a HONDA S2000 (2000 model, with technologies from 9 yrs ago)and it already spits out 240hp from a 4 cylinder NORMALLY ASPIRATED engine. Torqueonly is right, the S2K was ranked 2nd in most HP/litre next to the ferrari. You sure you want to talk about making maximum hp from small engines. You don't stand a chance pal. You mean your turbo only gave u an extra 20hp? That's pretty sad...you know that rite?

How much torque though? Torque is what wins races not horsepower. And how high is that s2k engine revving? like 9000 rpm compared to 6500 in a cobalt? trust me honda sucks for racing in stock form. you have to dump so much money into them for them to be fast

yeah i had a friend of mine with a Integra i belive it was a GSR or something, all he had was a CAI everything else stock besides the intake, and i didnt have anything no intake or nothing completley stock..and smoked that dude..hondas are weak..Nissan's are one on of the best. Nissans/Toyotas/Suburu's..grea­t cars!
