very informative thanks, hope you could include a before and after shot of the octabank, ps the position of the light was higher up with the grid on octabank than when it was without it... it would have been a better comparison if it was on the same place
Do I have to spell it out for you or are you just trying to argue? My point is what I said, I'll repeat it for you, "This guy is great! But he seems really, really, really timid around gorgeous women..."
the shadow can be eliminated in various ways the first one is to raise and tilt down a little your main light this will cast the shadow below the of what the lens sees :)
hi, nice video sir... well i wana ask u a question... am a struggling model, n i don hav money to have another portfolio. so, i've decided to tak my frnd'z cam n do a photoshoot for myself... i've prepared 2 light boxes but lil bit confuses tht whether i shud use wite bulb or golden/yellow... ? I still don't get what the octodome is used for. I thought it was to give kind of grid shadow/light on the model :s

i have a question. how come i always get the shadow in the back whenever i take the pictures?
i am not sure is because of the light setting
mtada258 2 years ago
Nope, its because your using only one flash. Use another one for fill or reflector to get rid of the shadow.

move everything (lights camera and model) 4 feet away from the back ground and see if that helps
move further if needed/possable)
