  • always a great place to visit every chance we can get down we go to venice and the keys the keys is where this hoosier is going to have his ashes thrown into the sea but not to soon ha ha

  • Florida, I Love You.

  • Great Post! Key West is the greatest.

  • Im in love with this fantastic spot! Key West I love ya!

  • @Skitas1 It's a history filled place. What about the video? :)

  • One of the nicest things about Key West is that the island sits on both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach experience is different from most. You can wade several yards into the ocean at the same level before getting into deep water. That's a change of pace for this Va. Beach, San Diego, Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach boy.

  • @m11811one Is it full of gay people?

  • It stows in Key West in days 01 and 02 of January of 2011. Everything is interesting, mainly the way to arrive there, from Miami, FL. The stroll and the options of leisure are many. One sends regards to be in Key West at least 3 days to be able to tan the place.

  • I love Key West though I do dislike all the condo's that are popping up :/

I miss when there were barely any.... But I do love my island very much and I am very proud of our people and life style!

And I'm happy the fire station has moved so its not right next to my house....

  • I love key west more than Miami...!

  • any body have any idea where the music is from? Love the video....makes me want to go back...

  • Grew up down there....miss it so much. Love the video..........what's the music?

  • Nice vid...I am headed back to KW in 2 weeks, a lovely place to chill!

  • I just got back from Key West today. Great video.

  • @liondoghound Thank you!!! We're hoping to get back there soon too :)

  • Key West: A quaint little drinking town with a fishing problem.

  • Hey its a lovely place.I flew from Turkiye to KW.Although we have lots of beaches in TR, I was impressed by the white sand beaches over there. But the sharks scared me when I took a cruise. Really beautifull gay guest houses you should experience it....

  • My wife, two kids, and I live in a small ass two bedroom apartment and our rent is 1,350 a month. Can't even save up enough money to get the hell out of here

  • Well its a shit place to live, unless you are filthy rich and can afford to live in a nice place with the extreme housing costs, but now its mainly a vacation spot for people like me. But it doesnt suck.

  • If it sucked so bad, why did you live there for six years? I'm from Canada and absolutely love Key West, especially when we have we have record setting harsh winters like this year. Some choose to see the ugly, some choose to see the beauty. As for myself, I prefer the latter. Can't wait to go back!

  • I'm with him...it really sucks here. but you don't have to be filthy rich to live here either. Unless you plan to buy...

  • I looove KW...Yes it is touristy, but you can find your own quiet. Get out in the MORNING and enjoy the peace & quiet, become a temporary local, b/c that is all you see out in those beautiful Key west mornings!

  • O I so want to visit the conch republic again

  • Many thanks for the great tour, especially showing where my daughter works in Key West. I can't afford to go visit her so this was the next best thing...loved the music too especially.

  • I was there in "97" and I wish I could go back. I went deep sea fishing, snorkling, and even got to meet Mel Fisher. He placed a huge good chain on my neck for a picture with him. He was sweet, and with all the money he had he was a honest person. Love Key West, Love Mel Fisher.

  • fantastic job on the video!

  • Got back from KW 2 weeks ago. Best part was restaurants & snorkeling at Dry Tortugas. It's a cute town but suffers from being *way* too touristy. My idea of a vacation is great food, places to snorkel & lie on the beach. Key West has *some* of this. Though it's cool to be able to say we've been to the "southernmost point in continental U.S.", not sure how soon I'd go back. If you're not a happy hour sort of person, overall it's kind of a boring place.

  • You have to know the places that the locals know to really get some quiet and see a side of the island that isnt touristy. If you go back, check out the local UU fellowship and find out from those good folks where to have a real key west vacation... those tee-shirt shops and the starbucks and all of that jazz... thats not the REAL KW!!

  • that little island that is in the first shot is called christmas tree island. We used to take taxi boats and party over there.
