If Obama wins and sticks to his plans regarding higher taxes for small businesses grossing 250,000, we are going to be in a world of hurt. It is not difficult for small businesses to gross that. After deducting payroll, payroll taxes, utilities, insurance, ads, building repair,supplies, etc etc, the NET amount the business makes is not very much. Add a fine for not providing employees with health insurance. There will be massive unemployment when small businesses close their doors.

High company taxation has indeed forced companies to outsource jobs. Obama's plan to raise corp taxes will bring more of the same. So few ppl realize that PEOPLE pay every dime of corp taxes, for instance in lost jobs.

Also, the tax burden on the rich is higher now than ever. Top 50% of earners pay 97% of income taxes...

When the Bush tax cuts were implemented, it did indeed lower the RATE of taxation on the rich. But that resulted in more economic activity, which in turn resulted in the rich having MORE of the tax burden than lower/mid income people.

Don't fall into the Obama confusion-trap where you equate a RATE with overall cost.

When Obama raises business taxes, those businesses will quite simply lay ppl off. That will be how businesses save costs in order to pay the taxes

I'll point out that the SOLE purpose of most companies is to make as much $ as possible for its shareholders, whether publicly or privately owned.

Mc Cain has voted against his party, and Bush! obama on the other hand, has never voted against his party. When running for Senate, he promised to lower taxes, when elected only voted to raise them. If BO eliminates Bush Tax cuts, immediately people with incomes down to $30K will pay $3500 more in taxes. Then he promises to give us $1000. Net effect= our taxes are up by $2500, not incuding the large capital gains tax hike he preposes. Also, if he attacks big oil, those taxes will just be passed on to us in the form of higher prices at the pump.

This man is too inexperienced and it is sad people are voting for him because of his color not his credentials!
