Your my hero Feng Zhu. I wish i was able to draw and paint like you. I can't paint at all, but I know how to draw. Is drawing enough to become an concept artist or do you have to know how to paint too.
I have 2 years before i'll go to artschool or design, should I start learning how paint.
@greatestchannel I can't speak for Feng, but I would say learn to paint now while you are refining your skill at drawing. Master your fundamentals. If you want to make good concept art, you also have to learn how to design. Study architecture, study anatomy, find out how things work, machines, the way wires curve whatever...it's a giant puzzle and you have to understand how everything fits. Then when you can, you can shape everything in your own way to create unique designs.
I remember the parasite. The little parasite gets into a snail, it makes it climb up onto a high leaf, it crawls into the eyestalk of the snail and pulsates to attract birds. The bird comes down eats the eyestalk of the snail, the parasite goes through the intestines of the bird, and replicates.
Who dislikes this?
