Superb editing job of a musical theatre treasure! This entry from jonthesYT brings us closer to dealing with the great unfortunate decision NOT to record the great Merman in the role. It's so wonderful to have Merman in character, singing in top form, totally Dolly and totally Ethel at the same time. Thank you!

Fantastic! Merman puts her personal stamp on Dolly Levi with her classic vocal "Mermanisms". Still singing at her vocal peak (was this 1968?) - no sign of the wobble that eventually infiltrated her aging voice. Wish there video - would love to see her strut, prance & patter around the stage to this signature song.
