woah that's a helicopter jet engine over there. it doesn't really provide thrust like in an airplane but it does drive the rotor blades. gas turbine, with the signature high-pitched sound with almost no vibration. MASSIVE power output. problem is, it's quite heavy, and so are its fuel tanks; it chugs down fuel like it's free. the same type of engine drives the 65-ton m1 tank.

As far as i know, yes i believe this is street legal, as for the Dodge Tomahawk i don't believe that is street legal, this Turbine bike can reach speeds at 250 - the Tomahawk can reach "300" so they say, they also say "No human can stay holding the bike and not fly off of it going that speed"

so yes, a turbine motorcycle is street legal as of yet, until it burns a human alive after riding it for to long, thankfully that's why it costs about $160,000 USD

It's been estimated to be able to do 300+ mph, but no one has ever attempted it. I don't think the bike has been aerodynamically designed to go that speed either. But it sure would be cool!

the mtt turbine superbike was a prototype design that was meant to be a futuristic bike. When the company got it right they made a beautiful bike and i must say i would'nt care less if this bike could be a death wish i would buy it and just keep it in first gear. they put in a helicopter engine inside it but the flaw of the bike was the heat so they specially designed the engine for heat reduction.
