Huh? What do you mean? Yeah, the car had many different nicknames. The Ecto-1 (and in Ghostbusters 2 the Ecto-1A) and the Ectomobile were the most common.
Srry, its just I can't stand anything other than ecto 1. I'm crazy about the boys in beige. : ) Don't take that too serious though. Anyways, I think that the car the Ecto-1 is based off of is THE coolest car of all time. (Specs. 1959 cadillac ambulance/ limo, converted by miller meteor, 21.5 feet long, 6 ft. wide, it is the largest car in american history, Fins are about 3ft long and 1.5 ft. high. weighs about 2 tons, and with all the badass Ghotbusters mods, it is about 3.) XD I memorized that!
Yeah, that car is most definitely awesome. And, I don't think you need to tell me about being obsessed with Ghostbusters. LOL! But, yeah, I know what you mean. Personally, I always liked both Ecto-1 and Ectomobile as names for it, so I interchange with both. I mean, if Batman can have the Batmobile, the Ghostbusters should get to have the Ectomobile. LOL! But, Ecto-1 suits me just fine too.
Ghostbusters 2 is a clever sequel. They take everything you would expect from a follow-up and throw it out the window. Venkman doesnt get the girl. The business is shut down. Winston and Stantz are doing birthday parties. They have to earn their status of Ghostbusters that has been taken away from them. The new villains are great. The movie's got some great lines. "Yeah, I know bassmasters" One of the few great sequels. I just hate the the No ghost logo is making a "2" sign with his fingers.
I actually like the Ghostbusters 2 symbol, but I do have to agree that I like the original symbol much better. One thing I always thought was kind of goofy, though, was when they had the new symbol on their outfits in the movie. That kind of breaks the fourth wall a little. It's like the knew they were in a sequel. LOL!
Yeah, that's my issue with the Ghostbusters 2 symbol. It would be one thing if it were just on the movie poster. But it's not. It's hanging off the side of the headquarters, on the car, and on their suits. Drives me mad. I love the movie, though. I remember seeing it as a kid and going crazy when they used a nintendo controller to move the statue of liberty. Rad!
LOL! Yeah, that was pretty cool. Other than in the movie, I only vaguely remember that big Nintendo controller they used though. I forget what the heck it was for. I wonder if the Angry Video Game Nerd ever talked about it.
That's awesome! I've actually got a GREAT and one of a kind Ghostbusters costume waiting for Halloween 2008. Found it on eBay. Let's just say, it's not one of the Ghostbusters, but it is really awesome. We'd make a great Halloween tag team this year! LOL! It's an absolute must see. I'll have a Halloween episode to show it this year, but if you are too curious to wait, I'll e-mail you a pic.
...I thought it was Ecto-1...

it was an arcade joystick. You could use it for any game, but it was designed for arcade style games like pac-man or galaga.

I liked The Lost Boys. Both Coreys in a movie. And the proto Jack Bauer in a younger Kiefer Sutherland.
