  • I just want to thank jw's for the love they placed inside me, Here's my song called "Gracia's" giving thanks to god. thank you

  • Sounds about right. Hating Witnesses just supports there view that they are persecuted.

  • The focus on this video is with outdated information and on a biased tone. I'm shunned myself but still believe this organization is the truth. It's always the easiest, most easily understandable routes we choose. Leave the thorough studying for those who are more willing.

  • @theotherbry The fact that the end times are always around the corner, and the corner is never rounded makes the religion--not the information in the video out of date. Believing after you have seen the inaccuracies is illogical. I suggest learning some new stuff.

  • I.dont wanna wacth this so can someone just tell ne what this is. Ill give you a bagel but itll cost you

  • I told those bastards that if they ever show up at my house, I will meet them with a shot gun. They have destroyed so many people with the brainwashing of lies. They DO NOT have the truth. Only pack of lies they call "The Truth." They are dangerous people that you can not reason with. For all of you EX-jw'S .....You have to let go of the conditioning that they have the tRUTH, so that you can move on with your life and find peace. Let go of your family if you have to in order to start to heal.

  • The jEHOVA' wITNESSES are dangerous and fanatical cult. Like the taliban, but without guns and bombs. They have brainwashing down to a science. the wtbt society comes up with the crap and it is printed and the poor mindless SHEEP must "study" it and memorize it as the ultimate word of god. The catholics do that too. You DO NOT question god's messengers at the jw headquarters. This is pure bullshit!!!! NO ONE WILL EVER DO MY THINKING FOR ME, PERIOD.

  • JWs and my stupid parents ruined my life. Now if I ever dare talk of how much I hate it people compare it to being mormon or talk about how they had to go to church on sundays. People often don't get how invasive and ruinous this destructive cult of lies has ruined so many people who were forced into it growing up. I've talked to my dad a few times over the last 10 years, he tells me he's ashamed of me, worrys that the JWs will see me there and wants me to never come over. They make me sick

  • @sketchyj Kid, I am so sorry for what you have gone through. I have been there and I understand. My parents are dead and some of my siblings. I did not go to their funerals because I was not invited and there was no point. When they shunned me, I walked away crushed, but I got over it with the help of friends and people I befriended who became role models and taught me to love and believe in myself. I also got psychological help in debrainwashing. Let go of your family and move on with your life

  • @jonathonlb I have been going to college every year since 2003. When my dad's father died I went to see him just before he died but I skipped the funeral to avoid seeing my father. I have been in a relationship with someone for years now, without that special person to help me along I would probably worry a lot more about how my parents "ruined my life". Watching paranormal activity recently I noticed the old sofa and it reminded me of the box of VHS tapes and the fear of ghosts

  • Mother of God. These people make Mormons look like Unitarians.

  • It's so sad. JWs scapegoat failed predictions and changed doctrine by saying the light gets brighter. Poor gullible people believe this, poor gullible like i was. I just didn't have the courage to admit mom and dad could be wrong.

  • I was raised JW and the thing that bothers me most is that, if I tell my family how i feel about the facts of life, which i disagree with them or any theology, then they will all shun me. I will lose my parents and both brothers. And i wasn't encouraged to seek advanced/college education.

  • growing up in a jehovah witness family in the 70' and 80's completly ruined my life. i have nothing but true and utter hatred for them. they are an evil and dangerous group and i cant believe they are allowed to exist . must be that backed at high goverment levels .

  • Jwpublisher1 BLAH BlAH BlAH ZZzzz

  • Jwpublisher1 There not unique trust me I do bad things all the time haha. The people that actually follow Christ and listen to Jehovah's voice are a rarity!..

I've seen True Christians (JW)and seen Hypocrites I know what I'm talking about! People do not follow "Apostates!" They mislead and blind people of the truth,it is so true!!..

  • Jwpublisher1 Most "Apostates" I see are huge Hypocrites I guess every bodies a mutha fuckin hypocrite!!!they claim to be true Christians hahahahaha!XD..

*Yea such great people after leaving the WT*Aka abandoning morals and standards*Oh no you call it freedom their life is a fuckin free for all,no morals here!woooo!!!there not unique trust me I do bad things all the time haha.

  • They don't make you donate if that's where your gettin at,they never tell us to put money in the DONATION box!.I never feel pressured to put money in it..

  • @Praisejah992 And neither are the people that attend my Assembly of God church. No one is told to put money in the offering plate that is passed during the service, and certainly no one is made to donate. Why do you say something about churches that you have absolutely NO Knowledge of? It's because you are FORBIDDEN to attend a church other than a Kingdom Hall to see what really happens. What you are being told is WRONG, and you merely believe what you are told without question.

  • @Praisejah992 No one is ever pressured to put money in the offering plate at my church either. And what's the money used for that is given at the Kingdom Hall? It's for the electric bill, upkeep, janitorial supplies, etc. - the exact same things it goes for at my church.

  • Jwpublisher1 JWs say "They have THE Truth" not "They are the Truth"!!..

  • @Praisejah992 Do JWs ever ask each other the question "How long have you been IN the truth"? Also if Jesus is THE Truth and JWs say the have THE Truth, then are they saying they HAVE Jesus? I don't think so.

  • Great video! I hope it speaks to the hearts of those caught up in lies of "The Truth".

  • Ive been shunned by my family...

  • So,we're to take delight in deaths of "billions"of people as if it's our vengance, what about loving your enimies? please.Idiots.

  • What is that nice little song playing meekly behind the guys voice near the middle of the video?

  • the mine is where thay get you and qu thing out of contex im study with one now where in the book of what dos the bible really say the divine name it meaning i dont thank one can seee all this if one is not save or the spir t got to be ther

  • I was raised a JW from the time I was born, coincidentally, 1960. Leaving the cult in 1979 is the best thing I ever did. You are the people who will profess you did great works in his name, (Jehovah), and he will say 'I never knew you". Who else does ANY work in his name?

I pity you. If you realized you were brainwashed, you wouldn't be.

  • we are told we are living in the last days, we are not told a specific date. ever since 1914 we have been living in the last days.

  • the date 1914 was not saying the world was going to end, it just brought about the last days of this system of things

  • @mrfreedomoffreedom There were many other dates when the world was supposedly to end too. Not just 1914. Also, the idea of the world ending has been talked about for centuries. The population is growing tremendously, so even if this god were to do this, it would be a very unjust act.

  • Confused??? Que??

  • @Jamesandchante

What do you mean we???? They lied to us???? What????

  • I had it really bad, I wasn't allowed to go to school or socialize with "worldly" kids, but my dad was disfellowshipped and my mom was inactive so I was shunned at the hall since my parents weak spirituality caused me to be considered "bad association."

  • So, based off of the information many younger JWs have, it is not unreasonable to conclude that the GB might be lead by Christ. Yet, lately the literature has said many questionable things, and it is young JWs critical thinking skills to decide they cannot trust the GB and they should leave.

I don't think schools are necessarily to blame for JW kids lack of critical thinking skills either; because, many JW kids parents are suppose top be responsible for "homeschooling" them (but they fail to).

  • While I really like this video, I think it would be better to leave the part about JWs having a lack of critical thinking skills. The Bible does give signs that would occur in the last days, and it does give the idea that Jesus would instruct his true followers at that time. So, an open-minded person would at least consider what they GB says may be true. Since most younger JWs do not have access to older literature they do not know the organization gave false predictions.

  • Excellent video! I added it to my favorites and I will put it on my Facebook and MySpace accounts. I I

  • I can't see the video... it's all green :(

  • I've always been a bit of an artist. Be it through prose or aesthetics. Of course, I am able to express my emotions through these mediums like many others. When my aunt, who is a JW, told me that I would have to stop writing, drawing, and painting because I wasn't doing it to glorify Jehovah, I had to get away from this organization. They work really hard to stifle free expression. They want to take what makes you unique away from you.

  • @beanio12 Very true!

  • Somethings ain't right on the vid

  • Bible doesn't say when the earth will end. Nor have I ever heard a Jehovahs witness say when the end will be..

  • @scolesracing I was always told the JWs never gave dates for the end of the world. But, the congregation I was in gave away their library (since the other congregation we shared the hall with had one too). I got to take possession of nearly all of the books (no one seemed to want any of them!). I read them, and I saw the false predictions they gave and the flip-flop doctrines too! If they are guided by god they would not be so confused. I am shocked that so many older ones have lied to us.

  • @scolesracing I'm sorry that they lied to us. I understand how you must feel. But we are not lying to you. We felt the same shock that you do; and we thought the apostates were lying. Not all apostates are nice and truthful either! In fact, I have met some horrible apostates, and they caused me to believe that most apostates were liars, hateful, and on the side of the devil! But, many "apostates" have left the organization for good reason, but they didn't leave God.

  • ..you did this research on your own..I applaud you. But when you say they said the world would end in 1914..they said the kingdom of God will no longer rule the earth..meaning Satan will be it's ruler and look how things have been going since then!WW1/WW2/Iraq/fast food(improper distr. of meat)/everyday ppl on streets/crime rates. Do your research there and see how much those things have increased since 1914. But if you wish not to take the time to prove this to yourself then you've been warned.

  • @imagymnast5678 your misinformed, FIRST they predicted that 1874 was the beginning of the last days, same excuse you just said, its "worse" then before. 1914 was to be the day Christ VISIBLY returned, and the world would end. he didnt, they changed it to invisible. Christ is to return AFTER all the signs lead up to the end, NOT be here DURING the sign. READ the bible without the WT and then open your mind to the truth. REAL truth

  • After 2 years being in the JW's inbetween 2006-2008,i'm glad that i am out of there!!!

  • i'm very happy and very sad that i broke out of these ridiculous beliefs. very happy to know it's false, but very sad to possibly lose all my family and friends. bullshit

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy That is EXACTLY how I feel. I have read so many reports of this religion breaking up families, and that's what I'm going through. Every now and then my mom and I will argue, and she has been brainwashed so much, it's just sad to see. It's almost comical to see how close-minded she is,but it's depressing to see what this (religion/cult) has done to our entire family. I'm glad to know that's it false too, but there are so many that actually believe this.

  • @SoleyNSilent it really is depressing how brainwashed they get you. it's actually surprising there are people like you and i that have been able to think skeptically about the religion. they really try to completely shun you from the outside world, telling you not to read or listen to anyone or anything that could go against their beliefs. anything that sounds like a valid argument is trickery from satan! don't let evildoers trick you into following the devil!!! haha

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy It's almost comical but then it's just sad at the same time.

They make it seem like having doubts is a bad thing, when really, being skeptical is what keeps one to have an open-mind which then broadens knowledge.

I definitely see your point. There is just so much evidence, it's almost hard to comprehend, and the mind reforming techniques are so effective too. You can look at history and see how fear has (always) been used as a controlling technique.

  • @SoleyNSilent yes exactly!

if you don't mind me asking, what are your beliefs now?

  • (1) As for religion...irreligious. I've done a lot of research on religion, and none of it is actually 'true'. As far as theism, I'd say I'm agnostic because (it seems) no one really knows for certain if there really IS an ultimate god out there.

If you look at religions much older than Christianity, you can find very similar beliefs. They just "evolved" as time went on,and that's why there are more religions now than ever before. "Paganism" is an umbrella term.

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy (2) I've also researched Christianity in particular, and then started examining religion all together. The umbrella term "paganism" is referred to as any religion that is non-abrahamic in origin. Then you'll find out that there are religions much much older than Christianity, and you'll also learn that religions simply sprout from other ones. It's the evolution in religion as a whole. Not just one in particular. I find this to be very interesting.

  • @SoleyNSilent interesting! i'm happy to hear you've done your research! i definitely agree with you on a lot.

i can reason with Deists, and Agnostics, but theism is absolutely out of the question. knowing what i know now, i could never believe in a personal god again. i myself am an Atheist. i'm not saying i KNOW there is no god, but it is very very unlikely. i believe religion came about due to our lack of knowledge about the universe in our early stages, and so did the idea of a god. (cont.)

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy (cont.) that's probably the main reason i would consider myself an Atheist. i also personally believe the Universe explains itself without a designer. it looks just as it should if no intelligent mind was behind it all.

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy [1] I think I may be borderline Atheist myself,but I probably won't "come out" for awhile though.I really don't enjoy debating.

The entire "God's existence" debate is VERY controversial, and there is so much evidence that goes against creation, and the idea of an almighty god altogether. I have been skeptical of religion and intelligent design for awhile actualy, and I'm glad I broke from the trance induced state I was put into for so long.

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy [2. cont.]

I naturally started questioning things as I got older. I'm 17 now,and my mom has had me in this...cult...since I was born. So you can only imagine the tension there is between us. She's completely delusional, and I absolutely loathe these religious arguments to death. I kind of feel sorry for her, because HER mom did the same to her as well. She had no choice, and so when my mom had kids, she did the same thing to us. No choice whatsoever.

  • @SoleyNSilent [3.cont.]

As for God's existence... I do enjoy this topic more than the religious topic, because 'God' and religion are actually two different subjects, but people have the tendency to integrate them because religion tends to force the idea of an omnipresent being.Anyway... What got me questioning God's existence were many things like:Weather control,Mind control,The holocaust,Natural disasters, Genetic modifications, inconceivable technologies, science and many more.

  • @SoleyNSilent Yes I was born into the religion too. When I was younger I had a lot of questions that were never really answered, but it never really concerned me enough to question the validity of my faith. It hit me like a wall when I was almost 20 and I started to think about Noah's ark. All you have to do is think about it for 2 minutes and you realize it's impossible and really very silly. After that I started doing research and after that there was no going back, haha. (cont.)

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy (cont.) And I too wont be telling my family about this anytime soon. I have told my mom, who at first was furious but now is a little more understanding. In fact I've actually persuaded her to read Richard Dawkins Greatest Show on Earth. But the rest of my family may never know.

The unfortunate part is they know I have been missing all the meetings and they're starting to ask questions. I might just have to man up and tell them.

    (cont.>>)

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy (>>cont.)

Natural Disaster, the Holocaust.. etc. some of the main reasons I would never believe in any theistic god(s) again. Natural Disasters are natural, they're part of this planet and are caused by the laws of Physics. The Earth could never be a perfect place for man to live, unless god plans on jumping in every time this poorly planned Universe decides to whip up a tornado or tsunami.

Elaborate on Mind Control if you will. I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy (1) That is amazing. I wish I had an understanding mother, but she is very bias and judgmental. She thinks faith is evidence, when it actually, it isn't. That's an oxymoron anyway. "Faith is my evidence" but when you look up the definition of the word, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

As for mind control, There are many different types, but I'm talking of actual mind control through use of drugs, electroshock, torture and more.

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy (2.) A lot of people don't think it's true to actually control a person's mind, but it is. Just search "Mind control" and you will find countless documents and articles talking about it. In particular, search "Project MK-ULTRA". It's quite disturbing, and this was of the many things that got me wondering if there really is a god. I find this completely unacceptable and absurd. Oh,I also forgot to mention terraforming.Search that as well.

  • @SoleyNSilent Haha ya faith is in no way evidence. It's literally the exact opposite as you said. Pretty interesting about the mind control. I'll definitely look into it!

Have you tried showing your mother the atrocities in the Bible? particularly the Old Testament? maybe try showing her the one in 2 Kings, where Jehovah has 42 children torn to pieces by bears. Or others where he has someone stoned to death for picking up sticks on the Sabbath.

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy I have never heard of that at all. Where exactly is it located in the Old Testament?

Even if I showed that to her, she would come up with some unreasonable excuse for it anyway.

  • @SoleyNSilent Yeah they always try to justify it in any way they can. But you can at least try showing her a couple and see what happens.

    2 Kings 2: 23,24 is the bears.

Number 15: 32-36 is also a good one.

Leviticus 20 is just a big list of people who shall certainly be put to death, mostly by stoning or burning.

There are tons of mass slaughters that occur due to gods direct commands. Also search Bible contradictions and you will find there are plenty of those too.

  • @aPpLeJuIcE37RainLucy That's very interesting. Thanks for sharing that.

It's tough living in a home where you have to put up with your mother's religiosity nearly every day and her trying to shove these beliefs down my throat.

I'm always wondering "why" people believe in religion so much. It must be the sense of hope and the 'comfort' they receive from it. If I ever had children, I would never force them into any religion or any belief for that matter.

  • @SoleyNSilent Ya no problem!

I think you're right, it's really just the fear of death that keeps religion alive. And most people that follow a religion have had it pounded into their head as the only truth making them pretty much incapable of imagining a Universe without a deity or personal god of any kind.

  • I lost a loved one who i would of done anything for. I was even going to become baptised so I could be with her because they room away her ministerial rights. Because she was with me. They polluted her like that and even manipulated her with advice that was true like if i stop believing life would be much harder for her. She lost trust in me and our relationship and our future. She put all of her will and her faith into this to become baptised

  • @bandrock2010 the decision is all urs. U should maybe continue the study but do ur own research n investigations n question everything u have doubts about. Don't settle for a lame explanation either.

  • if armageddon is tomorrow, i am ready to die.

  • You put it pretty well, I think, though I wasn't around till the 70s ;)... Anyway, the faith has not really changed but individual young people within the Jehovah's witnesses have... While in the 60s and 70s you were learned to obay, now our children are learned to criticise and question what they are learned, therefor, also children of Jehovah's witnesses learn to think for themselves, isn't it from their homes, it is from school...

  • Wonderful video.

  • i study with JW and what i learned is that they are NOT a cult. they NEVER ask for money. They have not tried to indoctrinate me against my will and should i ever choose to stop the loss is mine. JWs are very kind very clean and have come from all walks of life

  • @LummiN8vRose Interesting that the CULT has persuaded you that they are not a CULT. Don't you see the irony in that? Any group that demands TOTAL adherance to strict rules by a person, or in this case a group of persons called the Governing Body, and practices total shunning for non-adherance is a CULT! You are blind if you think otherwise. Just take a look at those who are baptised a JW and later decide to leave the organization. "Kind" is the opposite of how they will be treated.

  • 6:22 ..A perfect example of "non-scriptural" grounds for divorce =)

  • I grew up a JW. They say they are the the truth but Jesus said he is the truth. Only Jesus can save you. Not a religion, not a group and not yourself. Jesus is the way, the truth and the light. Seek him. God loves you no matter what.

  • It's all fabricated in the minds of men for control. Every religion is totally full of shit and made up by MEN who wish to control you. They are the 1%, make no mistake about it. The Pope is a Pervert and I'm a Mormon.

  • martin howard book We know what you want, very helpful book will save you money.

  • This is a really good video. Fuck this sick cult!

  • @bandrocks2010 that decision should be yours.

  • Ok, so I'm studying with this religion. Does anyone suggest I continue or stop?? And another question, why do people say that JW are a cult??

  • @bandrocks2010 book Martin Howard We know what you want. should be at on line bookshop.

  • @bandrocks2010 Stop immediately! A CULT is a group that demands total obediance and adherance to rules by one person, or in this case a group of persons called "The Governing Body". They use mind-control and fear of shunning (disfellowshipping) to enforce this total adherance. They say they are "The Truth", but check the scriptures. Jesus Christ said: " I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life", it is blasphemy against God for JWs to say they are "The Truth".

  • @bandrocks2010 Read the book "Crisis of Conscience" by Raymond Franz, a former member of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. It's available used on half.com or amazon.com. I will loan you my copy if you can't afford to buy it. Let me know. Also would like to hear your thoughts after you read the book.

  • I enjoyed this video, but it also made me sad. From a very young age,I was taught the organization was the only truth. I feel my formative years and early adulthood were spent in vain serving a cooperation. And now,I have to start my life over at almost 40 years of age.

  • @YankeeGirl37 At least you found a way to start your life! Better late than never :)

  • @YankeeGirl37 you are younger than I, you can still have a baby and you can still get university, take a class in ANYTHING that interests you. were you good in math they need pharmacy assistants, pays well. take any class anywhere, even a weekend one. book Martin Howard We know what you want. also on YT jwFairy is funny and healing humor. YOU have time, do YOU.

  • Growing up a JW, eh? That's a contradiction of terms. If you're a JW you never grow up. In fact, if you believe in any of that god shit the notion of 'growing up' is one that has surpassed you.

  • @AtheistEutopia great point, was actually healing, it takes years....esp if born in as I was. here is a good book. Martin Howard We know what you want. by disinformation (publisher) any on line book shop. be kind, the fear handed to the very young on this topic is quite real to them. takes years, even if you fight to get university education as I did. the YT comments have been helpful. just to write is helpful. be well.

  • they just came to my house and gave me a booklet with there views.wow are these people crzy. it scares me when someone belives something without knowing or having conclusive data. but they seem they believed this stuff. i asked how would you know so much stuff without someone telling you? couldnt this someone give false data? and they believe that god let them know the truth and why would a johova give false data? i was out of my mind when thwy said this. crzy people imo. i study religions 4 fun

  • us jw wee have an amazing priviligeee the truth

  • @joelesquivel31 - It is sad that you make such a ignorant comment without even bothering to address any of the points in the video. Since so many of the things highlighted in the video were falsehoods, at exactly what point in time did it stop being a lie, and start being "the truth"?

  • @joelesquivel31 you wouldn't know the truth if it fell outa the ski and wiggled on your nose. Funny how the jw organization can be "PROVEN" wrong with its own Bible. That makes it false.

  • @joelesquivel31 - I see that a lifetime as a witness has taught you how to spell.

  • @joelesquivel31 Jesus Christ is THE TRUTH, not JWs!

  • @jwpublisher1 Amen!

  • This video outlines my life! EXCELLENT job!

  • @meloniesghost "retribution against apostates"in what way?killing folk?they must have a real frustration about the end not appearing sooner, they never seem to line events up with what was written, the NWT dose not help them.

  • lt dose lack self respect abuseing yourself+Satan has turned society into a place where people fornicate freely+leads to problems.l am not a watctower society member,l am a witness of Jehovah, not a Jehovah's witness, those people were spun some serious lies that have ruined thousands of lives.Xmas has pagan oriigins along with other events.

  • This is exactly how it is.Now the JW's are calling for retribution towards apostates.Sounds like a veiled threat...1975 never happened like they promised.I mention this to JW's,and they smile smugly, and say,"Well, think how close we are now"!

  • This is exactly how it is.Now the JW's are calling for retribution towards apostates.Sounds like a veiled threat.

  • 7:09 best part! :-()

  • Jehovah's witnesses are NOT the only religion that believe in Jehovah. Jehovah is the GOD of the bible, therefore many religions believe he is the one true GOD. Most fundamentalist "quakerist" religions believe this to be true. Otherwise the rest of this video is pretty informative.

  • Excellent video! I can relate much of this to my experience as a born in Jehovah's Witness growing into adulthood in the cult.

  • @thepixieful ,yes I know this. Lets remember that the devil rules this world and soon that will be done away with and we by way of that ransom will live in paradise

  • @luxedeluxepomade Matt 24:5 NWT reference

"Many for shall come in the name of me, saying: I am the ANOINTED; and many they shall deceive... Lu 21:8 Not therefore go you after them." (WT Emphatic Diaglott)

    Acts 1:7

He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority."

    Matt 16:4

4 A wicked and adulterous generation keeps on seeking for a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jo´nah.” With that he went away, leaving them behind.

  • now the information you just told is funny and is some what right but really your looking in the wrong spots out of some of the information you have yes some grow up in the truth and some learn the truth just as I did no I'm not a all hated JW's but I plan to be. were critical time's and the time we live are close to a end were not saying it's gonna end today nor tomorrow but we are saying it's close out of all the information your telling these people is like .00000000000000001 % out of 100

  • Comment removed

  • I am not baptized but my parents are baptized Jehovahs witnesses. WE ARE NOT A CULT. I belive we have the truth. The only reason that Jehovah God will destroy billions of people is because they are doing worng and evil things still at the end. Like adultry, fornication, lying, stealing, cheating and so on. If you look in the encylopida it says christmas which is "supposed" to be Jesus b-day is a pagan holiday and thats not even published by Jehovahs witnesses do your RESEARCH people WAKE UP!

  • @sexiikitty667 Actually the "pagan" holiday of Christmas was established 300 years after the birth of Christ. Check YOUR dates. I would say the Watchtower society is a high control group. Show me where in the Bible God EVER repeatedly changed His teachings. Not once was it done.

  • @Medewtysenu -_- i am one of Jehovahs witnesses too, ive been in this religion my WHOLE LIFE im not baptized yet but i hope to be soon, anyways please BE NICE

  • @Medewtysenu: Your right about the repeatedly part but he did change his teachings for example he changed the requirement for circumsion(yes I misspelled that) and that lasted 1,900 years!!!!

  • @sexiikitty667 - Actually, "Jesus brithday" coincides with a couple of things, but mainly ASTROLOGY. The Sun "dies" for 3 days every year on Dec 21, and then starts rising on Dec 25th. Just because the JW's don't accept that, they do accept other astrological things mentioned in the bible. Where do you think the 4 living creatures came from. They originate from the Zodiac chart. Why do you see Israel having 12 tribes. Because in Gen 49 Jacob assignes each one of them to a house of the Zodiac

  • @sexiikitty667 - The JW's are a CULT. If you're not baptized, then how can you be honest with yourself about them being a cult or not? For one, there is NO way that you could be baptized, and then leave the organization without some type of loss. Be it a good reputation, family, or friends. Gangs work in the same fashion. If you want to leave them, you have to lose something. WAKE UP yourself! Figure out what the WT is. Figure out they've given you NO way to actually prove your belief is true.

  • Comment removed

  • @sexiikitty667 "WE ARE NOT A CULT" Ha, Ha, Ha, now that's a good one! Reminds me of Richard Nixon saying " I am not a crook!".

  • the one true religion of assholes

  • Pretty much spot on, from one who lived 1975- 2000-ish as a 'born in the truth' JW. Perhaps a little too critical of the intelligence of the rank and file at the end there though- remember, hypnotic techniques at meetings and in literature combined with the fear tactic can over ride logical thought even in relatively bright people.

  • U to can be saved, we chose to not partake in evil worldly things n u to can be saved aswell.

It is a loving thing to know our God has a plan for us n that is life forever.

  • @luxedeluxepomade we are saved thru the ransom of God's son, not by not partaking of evil worldly things (that would be the mosaic law).

  • @luxedeluxepomade Colossians 2:16-17

"Therefore let no man judge YOU in eating and drinking or in respect of a festival or of an observance of the new moon or of a sabbath; 17... but the reality belongs to the Christ."

    1 Corinthians 10:29-30

29 “Conscience,” I say, not your own, but that of the other person. For why should it be that my freedom is judged by another person’s conscience? 30 If I am partaking with thanks, why am I to be spoken of abusively over that for which I give thanks?

  • Then the pulled the rug out from under everyone last year with the change to generations (though they did it in 1995 also) so those of my generation who grew up firmly believing we would never see death nor our families including our parents were rocked in disbelief. My parents now 80, have had to adjust their thinking to accept death now at this late stage... for me the dissonance was too much so I left.

  • @dmcarden I hear you. I feel the betrayal. life is real. it was difficult for the older ones as you note. do YOUR life for YOU. you are not the only one, I felt like I was until I could write here at you tube. better convsations in the last year here than pleasantries at the KH. be well, get yourself a fun goal maybe a night class I know you will be on time three nights a week, I just know you will.

  • Was born in 1962... I remember all of this

  • @dmcarden I am older than you, you have time to do stuff. enjoy.

  • so glad you are going to study biochemistry, you are my dream for witness kids, signed reporter and filmmaker. would have enjoyed med school, might not be too late, but all easier with youthful vigor.....P.S. see if you can get a cure for cluster headaches. thanks.

  • hello all i just wanna ask a question does anybody know if jehovah's witnesses condone letting a father have relations with his daughter? i've been trying to find an answer but all i find is someone bashing the victim because they are or were a witness

  • @jennaheartlee If you're asking about a father who rapes his daughter, then the answer would be no....but they do follow the 2 witness rule. Unless there are at least 2 witnesses nothing will be done...it would just be her word against her father. She would be discouraged from going to the police as it would bring reproach upon jehovahs name. Especially for born-ins, it would take an extreme amount of courage to go to the police in this matter if there were no witnesses.

  • @jennaheartlee The way congregations handle this kind of thing will differ depending on how compassionate the elders are and whether they would go against the governing body and encourage the victim to go to the police and support the victim. It certainly would be rare for that to happen, but not all JW's follow everything the governing body says. As far as consensual incest, no they wouldn't condone it if it got found out.

  • @jennaheartlee Should also be noted that if her father raped her and she didn't resist or scream, it could be viewed as fornication on her part. For most of it's (Watchtower Org) history you could be disfellowshipped for not resisting a rapist and be classed as unclean in Jehovahs' eyes. They apply Deuteronomy 22:23-27 for their stance on rape victims.

  • @CreativeHamster well said, quite witty.

  • five decades and three generations I felt this was quite accurate.....

  • Whoever put up this video, good job, this video makes me want to vomit, then kill myself for following this disguised in sheeps clothing idiotic organization. Watchtower I look forward to your demise. I will be in line with my lawsuit for your destructive influence upon my family.

  • @Jbeliski I found his video very healing, signed, witness kid who was there.

  • Oh man, this video is great. I was raised a JW but now I see what's really happening.

  • Wow. This is a great video. I'm disfellowshipped, & made my mental departure. I knew nothing about Article 12. Thanks. Also, I'd like to give attention to another valuable video I've found on YouTube entitled "The Watchtower's 1975 Disappointment, Part Two: Considering the Evidence" by JBSauce.

I had a debate with a fool of a JW that didn't want to admit that the WT predicted the early fall Sept 5, 1975 was a great buildup expectation for Armageddon. This shut him/her up.

  • @RODikUlus article 12 is that a legal thing, please let us know. thanks.

  • @thepixieful -- jwfacts made reference to it at 13:16 in this video. I still haven't checked it out, but you should question jwfacts about it.

  • Jehovahs witnesses are the lesser of all religious evils.

  • @mongodongo148 Tell that to all the families who lost loved ones because of their blood doctrine and pre-80's organ transplant doctrine. I know a woman who lost her father because organ transplants were a disfellowshipping offense at one point...not 4 months later it was relegated to a conscience matter by the society.

  • @jayww30 Its the only religion that follows what the bible actually says, unbridled by tradition. Jehovahs witnesses have not participated in any wars, demanded any money like the churches and do not celebrate any of the pagan oriented festivals that other religions love to endulge in. They follow the bible absolutely with no deveation from what the scriptures teach this is where all other religions fall short in making up their own rules and coming up with things as rediculous as the trininty.

  • @mongodongo148 Actually the tradition of the "Tithe", giving 10% of your earnings back to Jehovah is a Biblical teaching. To say that churches "Demand" money is a falsehood, or in other words a LIE. Where is the "money box" at the Kingdoms Halls? Right by the front door, you can't and aren't supposed to miss it! Another hypocritical statement by JWs!

  • @jayww30 And as for the man that died 4 months before organ transplants were allowed. Are you saying that jehovahs witnesses should not contunuously refine and improve their religion? Jehovahs witnesses do not claim to be perfect unlike other religions who because of this refuse to change anything about their religion. Are you also telling me that it was a bad thing that this was changed to a concience matter?

  • @mongodongo148 You damn right I'm saying it's a bad thing. It's a bad thing that this religion has anything to say about someone's medical wellbeing. They do not follow the bible, they follow their interpretation of the bible just like every other christian denomination out there. Jehovah's Witnesses change things in their religion all the time. In the last 20 years the generation teaching alone has changed at least 3 times.

  • @mongodongo148 They only refine and change things when they see particular problems or when they have run out of time, like with the earlier generation teaching. According to the governing body, Jesus isn't even the mediator for your run of the mill witnesses, only the 144,000. The governing body also profess to be god's mouthpiece and everything they write should be accepted as if it cam from god himself, which they have drummed into their publications for years.

  • @mongodongo148 Jehovahs Witnesses don't celebrate holidays because that's what the governing body tells them. JW's did celebrate christmas and birthdays into the 1920's after they were supposedly chosen by Jesus. JW's also wear wedding rings, which is pagan in origin. This religion in based on lies, granted any religion based on the bible is based on lies. They have caused the death and murder of so many people because of what they teach, they are far from the lesser of religious evils.

  • @jayww30 Again, no wars participated in by JWs, that alone means that they are the lesser of all religious evils. And the bible is also the only valid religious book, how can you just ignore its bizzare ability to predict the future 100s or 1000s of years in advance on 100s of occasions.

  • @mongodongo148 The bible does not contain valid predictions. History contained in the bible is false. Israelites were never slaves in egypt, it's been proven there was never a global flood, Canaan was never conquered by Israelites and the gospels don't fair much better. The bible is no more valid than the koran or any other religious text. It was written by ignorant men in order to keep control over people.

  • @mongodongo148 JW's are not the only people to not go to war. Participation in war doesn't equate anything for being most evil by that alone. Their flip flop teachings have done so much harm over the years. Rape, vaccines, blood, organ transplants, non-combative military service, encouraging remaining single and not having children (even way back from 30's). These teachings alone have cause an obscene amount of harm and death to people. You don't have to go to war in order to be evil.

  • @jayww30 You're an idiot, your last 2 comments have consisted of nothing but complete bullshit. Hey i'm longer a jehovahs witness either, but at least im not bitter and sinicle about it. If you hate them that much and truely believe that their religion is bad, then why use lies to try to bring them down.

  • @mongodongo148 You're the idiot. There is not one lie in any of the things I have said. You obviously still hold on to some fantasy image of what the watchtower society is. Pull away their holier than thou PR machine and they are no better than most other religions out their. This religion is very dangerous to the well being of it's followers.

  • @mongodongo148 You may not be a JW anymore, but you sure as hell still think like one. My guess is from your comments you still think they have bible truth, which is a contradiction in terms in itself. Since you think I've lied, point out one thing from what I've said you think is wrong and I'll bet I can prove it to you using their own literature. Unless you just want to continue your insults instead addressing any of the issues.

  • @jayww30 You make me sick, I can never understand why people like you continue to mope around the internet with your insults like some sad disgruntled retard. why don't you fuck off, move on with your life and stop trying to discredit people who are better than you.

  • @mongodongo148 I simply saw your stupid post about it being the lesser of religious evils and replied that that is not the case. Who says JW's are better than me? You, a foul mouthed ignoramus who obviously doesn't know the history and changed doctrines of a religion they belonged to. I was raised a JW and left 4 years ago because I actually had the guts to question things and seek answers. Jw's are certainly not better than me and obviously neither are you.

  • @jayww30 From the day i could comprehend such things, i have been questioning what i have been told. And every one of my questions were answered. Jehovahs witnesses always encourage their religion to be tested extensively, otherwise how could you possibly come to an informed decision. So again stop lying and and admit that the reason you quit is because you're a coward and you weren't prepared to do what the bible says you should do.

  • @mongodongo148 I left because I discovered I had been lied to my whole life. The JW religion is no closer to truth than any other religion out there. There is not one reason I should care what the bible says I should do. My sense of morality is higher than anything contained in that book. Even most countries laws are more just than what is contained in the bible. I certainly am no coward, it would have been cowardly to remain in a cult, just because I was raised in it and it was all I knew.
