  • They forgot the underhand serve!

  • @jaowseph the title says "like the pros"

  • i serve jump float all the time hah but finally i know the name for it

  • i find floats like 100x harder to receive than top spin serves because all you have to do for top spin serves is position yourself behind the ball and watch it go to the setter. then again I play as a setter so yea . . .

  • it pisses me off because at my tryouts i rocked every serve and now at practice i barely make it over the net and it frustrates me to no end.

  • @xXBrookesVoiceXx its better than the other way around

  • I can't even get it over the net...Lol

  • im short so i hafta jump serve lol

  • Our team made it in the semi finals in volleyball but some people on our team SUCK!! At serving (I'm not one of them btw :P) and when they serve, the ball ends up going BACKWARDS!! Ugh!! Sometimes I don't ask why...

  • i people have compliment on my serves after like almost every game xD and im only 13..

  • wow my jump top spin serves struggle. but im good at the jump floater

  • This works real good, i used it in a volleyball league in school.

  • hmm nice

  • SPAM

  • @willyboy1996 now try getting a jump serve.. LOL, overhands are for kids.

  • @halflimeproductions but in co-ed volleyball guys arent allowed to jump serve =/

  • @halflimeproductions haha i know right but i only do jump serves in warm ups though cause im afraid ill mess up in a game haha

  • che battute di merda....nella flot la palla non dovrebbe neanche muoversi, sennò che minchia di flot sarebbe?....bah...

  • i hate our molten ones they are too hard

  • im 13 and im on my school vollleyball team....its feels great to be the only one there that can do that ;D

  • ur lucky u can server :( i can't i used to be able too but now i can't :(

  • Oh...Im sorry if it seems like im braging.): If you want to tell me, why?

  • no ur not bragging. I just can't serve and i have my first volleyball game tomorrow :P

  • Oh, ok. Well i wish you the best of luck.(:

  • thx :)

  • youre welcome! have you played yet? If you have how'd it go?(:

  • it went good we won but i forgot the score.

AND I FINALLY GOT THE BALL OVER THE NET!

  • THATS AWSOMMEEEE!!!:D

  • i found that the best way to jump serve is to do it like an attack but contact the ball above your head no up and in front of you like an attack. that way your hand snaps and it drops suddenly in the back row

  • For it to drop faster and/or for it to move randomly in the air you need to put power behind it :l

  • wow...easy as pie ^^

  • in the flot service the ball DOESN'T rotate

it's compulsory for the flot movement

  • wellls im in grade 8, and i play volleyball for my school. all the girls in my team are realllly good servers but they just have no power, After alot a training i tought myself to do all three of them serves, if you just keep trying you will get it ayee, it toook abit of practise but you will get there (:

  • omg i hate recieving floaters...i'd rather recieve top spin any day!

  • a jump-float serve served in the 8th or 9th meter of the field is non-passable because it comes the receivers shoulder high and they must use fingers which is very hard taken into regard the velocity of the ball. They can receive it only by retreating few steps back but then you can use short serve to an instant as. Another usefull tip is to serve it cross court or diagonal as we say. I use this tactics in a first league pro volleyball and have 6 as per game ratio. Hope i help anyone.

  • A je l igraš za Vojvodinu, a? :)

  • ma neee, igram za Makedonija, Sinalko iz Krushevo :D

  • Yea..i already mastered all of them.but not da float surve really qood..i qive it some spin..lol.I cant surve without a top spin!. :)

  • I like the trainers from the girl...

does anybody know what brand this is and where i can buy them?

  • its really nice to know about them...but how the hell do you do it now :P hahaha

  • well the jump serve is all about rhythm. and practice!

float serve is irrelevant in mens vball but great for womens.

  • i dont agree with you at times floaters can be used regardless of mens or womens vball if done properly it can be very effective

  • you're retarded... it weighs the exact same

  • there is no men's or women's ball in volleyball, it's the same ball.

  • umm, if you are telling me a soft touch is the same thing as a pro touch, you are absolutely retarded.

Pro touch has a totally different feel.

  • who said anything about feel, of course there different styles with a different feel and slight weight variation, but there is no designated women's or men's volleyball, you mental midget.

  • The Molten Pro Touch is the official NCAA and USAV men's volleyball while the Molten Super Touch is the official NCAA and USAV women's volleyball, The only other balls are the tachikara super soft but thats only approved for high school and then the mikasa indoor ball that's used for both men and women in the olympics but i dont think anyone here is an olympian so theyre different for men and women for everyone else

  • In Europe and Asia Mikasa's the official ball :) Love those Mikasa balls.

  • The float is pretty much irrelevant now that you can set the ball on the serve. It's funny how they really dumbed the game down so that tall people can actually play.

Just stay quick on your feet and you can set just about anything except a monster monster jump serve.

  • a good floater thats served deep is actually quite hard to return regardless of the fact that you can set it

  • yeaah , i know , i have a really good overhand , and im also team captain , and i really wanted him to explain !!!

  • this is not a good spike serve... first has to jump higher and cross over the 9 m line

  • i play volleyball but im in middle school and im on the seventh grade team but how do u like throw the ball up at the perfect time to jump up and spike? i dont get it bc i always wanted to know how to do that but i dont think at my schol they wont let u do that i dont think but i want to know how. I can only do the regular spike and im excellent at that but i want to be better D; help!!!

  • Lots of practice

  • But where is the how to in this video??? I thought they would teach and not just explain what it is

  • Can someone pls help me with the jumping overhand serve i cant do it!!! im not even a good overhand server and im the fricking team captain (im awesome at setting) so help?

  • yeah he didn;t explain themm ! it didn't help me at all:S

  • dude...this coach is wack!!!!!

  • I'm so mad, I use to have an amazing float serve. It would wobble in air crazily with lots of speed, now I can't do one at all.

  • oww.. my arm!

  • What about the simple overhead serve ?

  • that was very helpful. :]

  • cool actually helpfull!

  • Nice ;)
