  • I can't stop watching these crash videos!!!!!!!!

  • yea he did look like he had back problems he was not over enough and did not have enough pressure on the skies and enough strengh for a downhill

  • fail

  • He was to weak for that Downhill.

This one takes all your Stamina

  • So what would you say is a 'good' sport?

Why is this a "sport" and not a sport?

  • The most gruesome death on a downhill race happened just there approximately 15 years ago. And he knew it.

  • i guess his ske edge was not sharp enough for ice

  • my coach tells me nearly every day that "ANY MISTAKE MADE IN A RACE COURSE GETS YOU TWO GATES LATER!" this is a very dramatic, but perfect example.

  • ghhahah XD^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

  • drunk:o

  • i heard that world cup skiers dont have there edges sharpened, or bases waxed, and actually you are all wrong about downhill skis, they have to be 1 metre 30. idiots.

  • 1 metre 30! dude, you calling people idiots? thats rich

  • @meeatnow are you serious?

  • I heard that THERE refers to location or point in action, as in: schools have dictionaries there. THEIR refers to possession, as in: their edges sharpened. Don't be so quick to call people idiots cause THERE are things you don't know as well.

  • Please learn that "cause" is not interchangeable with "because." It always cracks me up to read grammar Nazi's who make such elementary mistakes.

  • It's a conjunction for informal use of the word because, which carries the same meaning had I not left out the ' before the cause. I don't really care. I shouldn't have wasted my time writing that to correct him. Now as far as your comment, grammar Nazi did amuse me, but I'm not gonna have an English contest with you. I fucked the language up plenty and will do so for many years to come. I just felt like being a wise ass to him cause he seems the type to appreciate it. And look, a response below

  • @NYCEmpire hahaha are you really that much of a bellend/ loser? also please read my comment and understand the irony or is all of your knowledge channelled into basic grammar?

  • Bell end? You went deep into your bag of words on that one. Sounds like a British insult. I know a little grammar, along with other shit. Anyway, I'm sorry to embark on your ironic enlightenment. It's youtube...who really gives a shit what any of us say here? I say wise or dumb shit, someone reads it...whatever. I was just watching the video and fell victim to writing stupid shit as well, The video was enough time investment...now I wound up writing back. This makes me feel like a loser...(sigh)

  • @NYCEmpire gutted.

  • Lol, you're a clown. What you think you got e muscles? You try to talk to someone like an adult, and the response is like some sort of victory claim. Keep up the typing you meathead.

  • @NYCEmpire lol

  • wengen is the longest downhill slope

  • Thats exactly the point. Agree! His legs were tired, its well known that the biggest difficulty of the lauberhorn race is the length of the slope. The skiers have to be really fit to get right down and keeping the speed up. This crash has NOTHING to do with ice.

  • 0:32 Huiii! :D

  • no guess ... it s alway ice for competition... sometimes more sometimes less

  • Guess the snow was a bit Iike ice, you heard that grinding sound, which you hear when you'r trying to stop on ice

  • look at!

There is some terrible blue ice on the track !

  • omg this is the colour for the "ideal" way and its been worn away on the track!

  • Skis are way too short, could have also been where the shady areas were. Too bad. Julian the gates are stupid. You'd think they'd have a better way of marking things

  • you are totally right, his ski's are way to short,

they can't hold such a high speed and pressure,

but he wasn't also in great condition, I think

  • eSKape1994 wahaha are you serious?!?! his skis are way to short?!?! c'mon dude he is a proffesional, trained by proffesionals and sponsered by proffesionals, not to mention this isnt his first ski trip!! FIS downhill ski minimums are 215cm for men. These people know what they are doing with there equipment.... i can agree with you that maybe he wasnt in great condition, but to blame his performance on short skiis is obsurd and embarrassing

  • those ski's don't look 215 cm long, if I watch other DH-WC, the ski's look much longer, maybe I'm wrong, but the fact is that he isn't in a good condition

  • he's ski's are too short and I guess he didn't prepare the edges properly

  • Are you serious? In WC the edges are more sharp than knives it's not about that its that after the first few racers the little snow over the ice goes away and its just ice, the kind of ice edges cant grip on.

  • Do you have any idea of skiing? This is the world cup, do you think these professionals are complete idiots and dont know wich skis are best? And are you serious with: I guess he didn't prepare the edges properly... Every team (also the us) have a pro service man, who knows very well how to prepare skis.

You're talking about world cup skiers as if they were a bunch of amateurs...

  • ouch !

  • ^^ did he drink ?

  • he looks liek me when i ski

  • Diese blöden Schilder auf der Strecke

  • He wasnt lookin too good... seemed like his form just fell apart
