As long as you have a nice thick sounding humbucker in the bridge anyting is a metal guitar! strat or not. not bad

I agree but this strat is purely stock. 3 single humbuckers, not a single double on it! Plus only 21 frets so I can't even play most Megadeth or a lot of Metallica solos on it
