PLUGGING BP WELL BY A STRING OF CEMENT-FILLED CASING PIPES:
{BP has to lower down the well bore through the Riser Pipe Stub and the Blowout Preventer a string of 16"- 18" Casing Pipes connected together 500-1000 ft long after being filled with cement. BP Well will instantly be plugged and there will be no need for the Relief Wells. The annular space between the Casing Pipe String and the well walls can be filled by pumping cement. The whole operation will take few hours} BP said it would work.

The only reason this leak has not been ended is because BP hopes to save the well and its oil. If Heyward and BP wanted to end this tragic episode of eco terrorism they could simply drop a few million tons of wet cement on the well or detonate a small explosion on it and seal it forever, instead they drill two more wells so that they can more easily harvest their product. @Winter077 First of all the VOCs don't kill you instantly. Benzene for example is the number one organic compound responsible for Leukemia (don't believe me google it) The fumes you smell when you are pumping gas at the station is benzene. The safe amount of benzene is 4 PPB the epa has registered over 300 PPB on the shores of the gulf nad up 1200 ppb on days when the wind was right.
Bezene is a molecule that doesn't go away, it doesn't breakdown, THis is a major problem.

Unlike an oil tanker that spills a certain amount of oil, this leak if not fixed has the potential to spew oil out from the earth for the rest of our lives. No Im not in denial, but there are people that are blowing this out of proportion and its hurting the people of the gulf coast region more than its helping them. There are people saying that the gulf will never recover, which is just ridiculous and why I pointed out the 21 million gallons a year. I agree the spill is way worse than the annual seepage, but get a little perspective on things. Its not the end of the world and its not a reason to stop drilling for oil.

lets lower a gigantic iron two story grid over the leak area , screw it to the ocean floor and secure caps or tubes to each square shaft as needed eventually closing off the leak, keeping it flowing and equalizing the pressure of the entire grid, these grid or "quadulators" could be used on any ocean floor leak , cut the pipe off level to the ocean floor so the grid can be lowered on top and capped off one square shaft at a time, caps or tubes bolted on one square at a time..it'll work!

This is going to make the economy worse. Summers coming up, and alot of tourists are going to be going on vacation, and a majority of the beaches will be closed and they'll end up losing millions and millions of dollars from this.

First of all Halliburton is a service company, they dont drill or hire drilling rigs or produce oil. Second, what the hell are you talking about? According to the Institute for Energy Research, he didnt ban all companies except BP, he put a moratorium on drilling the North Slope and ordered a new study to be done about drilling off the continental shelf. He didnt open up any new areas as the news reports would have you believe.

However, I worry that I might accidentally poison my cat by feeding him what comes out of the tap. Nearby we have many wildlife reserves where live a great number of endangered species. I worry very much about what the future holds for them.
And I'm PRAYING that the next news report I see features the BP execs' heads on pikes.

It was a BP executive who ordered the Halliburton cement team to take the short-cut which helped cause this disaster. This is well documented and we have testimony on the events leading up to the collapse of the rig. It was also a BP foreman who ignored the damaged cut-off gasket in the BOP which created inaccurate pressure readings from the well head itself.

As I said, below on filling the casing pipes with cement, BP admitted it would work,
but will KILL the well... they don't want to plug it up because they will not be able to

The only reason this leak has not been ended is because BP hopes to save the well and its oil. If Heyward and BP wanted to end this tragic episode of eco terrorism they could simply drop a few million tons of wet cement on the well or detonate a small explosion on it and seal it forever, instead they drill two more wells so that they can more easily harvest their product. @Winter077 First of all the VOCs don't kill you instantly. Benzene for example is the number one organic compound responsible for Leukemia (don't believe me google it) The fumes you smell when you are pumping gas at the station is benzene. The safe amount of benzene is 4 PPB the epa has registered over 300 PPB on the shores of the gulf nad up 1200 ppb on days when the wind was right.
Bezene is a molecule that doesn't go away, it doesn't breakdown, THis is a major problem.

He claims to have inside information about the spill from his relationships with BP. I had an idea to completely rip out all that piping down there and lower a giant horizontal concrete slab over the hole on the ocean floor.

lets lower a gigantic iron two story grid over the leak area , screw it to the ocean floor and secure caps or tubes to each square shaft as needed eventually closing off the leak, keeping it flowing and equalizing the pressure of the entire grid, these grid or "quadulators" could be used on any ocean floor leak , cut the pipe off level to the ocean floor so the grid can be lowered on top and capped off one square shaft at a time, caps or tubes bolted on one square at a time..it'll work!

This is going to make the economy worse. Summers coming up, and alot of tourists are going to be going on vacation, and a majority of the beaches will be closed and they'll end up losing millions and millions of dollars from this.

Either that or its not nearly as bad as what they would have us believe so they can pass legislation banning offshore drilling. That would be in step with this administrations agenda. Everyone says that Obama approved East coast offshore drilling sites months before, but the truth is he banned sites in Alaska and gave no new drilling authority off the shelf. This administration doesnt want offshore drilling,but will people complain when gas is $25,can our economy survive?

First of all Halliburton is a service company, they dont drill or hire drilling rigs or produce oil. Second, what the hell are you talking about? According to the Institute for Energy Research, he didnt ban all companies except BP, he put a moratorium on drilling the North Slope and ordered a new study to be done about drilling off the continental shelf. He didnt open up any new areas as the news reports would have you believe.

I have a question: How will Europeans feel when tarballs start washing up on the shores of Britain, Spain, Portugal and France?
Once this spill hits the Atlantic loop, it will go up the America East Coast but then in by July it will be coming down Europe's west coast.

I'm not sure if everyone has been watching the past few weeks of coverage on the US media. Right up until about 5 days ago, there was report after report suggesting it was "difficult" to "see" "any traces" of the oil slick....
With oil lapping at shores all over the place, those reports look so stupid right now, almost terrifyingly so.

@johndessoye Unfortunately, there's truth in what you say. However, I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that. I live in the Gulf, and I never drink the water. However, I worry that I might accidentally poison my cat by feeding him what comes out of the tap. Nearby we have many wildlife reserves where live a great number of endangered species. I worry very much about what the future holds for them.
And I'm PRAYING that the next news report I see features the BP execs' heads on pikes.

I hope the oil gets to the U.S. coast before it gets to any other country. This is the only way somebody will do something about this problem. The craziest part of this all is that on 6% of the people think off shore oil drilling should stop.

It was a BP executive who ordered the Halliburton cement team to take the short-cut which helped cause this disaster. This is well documented and we have testimony on the events leading up to the collapse of the rig. It was also a BP foreman who ignored the damaged cut-off gasket in the BOP which created inaccurate pressure readings from the well head itself.

I say we nuke the hole, seal it. Collapse it. Surely that would be less damaging than millions of barrels of oil being spread around and completely killing off sea life and shore lines. A few months of elevated radiation won't be too bad.

Nuke the hole. Then set the gulf on fire to burn off the oil. Prevent it from leaking for months and going around the world. Cut your losses.
