@CodeProtoss01 matched grip on snare isnt even comfortable. Snares are supposed to be played with traditional. tenors are different cause it is physically impossible to march and play trad. with tenors. you may be able to play on drum 2 and 4 barely but thats it.

@xXW4RH3ROXx match grip being comfortable is a matter of opinion. there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to opinion, thats like saying dynasty is better than pearl. once again there is no right or wrong way to play a snare drum, if billy buys a snare drum and wants to play on the shell let him play on the shell its his money he can play how he wants. and last i checked there is no sentence in the user manual for a marching snare that says 'this drum was meant for traditional grip'.

Ya know, these guys actually have a good sounding line. Granted, their book may not be as difficult as the Cadets, or The Crusaders, or The Bluecoats, but they're not too bad sounding.

Sounds like MCM 2011 version 2.0! Gwaltney really outdid himself with Spirit this year, i really dig these beats. Are any of the guys from MCM on this line this year? I can't really tell without their bald heads and beards.
