I like the piece a lot, but in my opinion he didn't put enough of Brahms in there... You know? That fat, old man with the white beard? When I think of him, I always have a picture of a mad, evil genius playing the organ like crazy in mind. With a lot of power and thunder and... you know what I mean :D

He did a very good job, but I like it better if you can hear Brahms going mad on his piano :)

I read all the comments about being human and all... but it's not just one mistake, or two or three... and notice it's the same mistake on both repeats... he should really clean up the piece before recording it...

I'm just learning this and the intro is like O.O to me lol. The only thing I thought was a little forced and too fast was the 5 b6 1 riff, to me it wasn't enigmatic enough. But I haven't really looked too deep in the piece yet so I'm not grounded in my opinion. Anyways, great performance and pleasure to listen to.

Mistakes are normal. You are not used to it because of all the cuts in Cds. I never listened to a live pianist who never did mistakes. We are human.

I think, a combination of what was said describes this perfectly:

technically very well played, I would not consider the very few mistakes as grave.

some of the breaks are a bit surprising, but all in all beautiful. you could only make it a bit more lyric by playing it a bit more piano.

Excellent Job... I know that you will have made great improvement since you uploaded the soundtrack. Stay on top of the verses that you know in your heart, you could be more fluent. This is your language, this is your song... you do so well.. This is one of my absolute favorite piano pieces to play, so my compliments. The sound quality of your videos is very good.

It is well played, but some breaks are too surprising I think. You don' take enough time to prepare in some places so that it has an effect. I play the piece next week at a concert too. Technically, I will not make it that good :)

my favorite interpretation of this piece so far it's slower than many i've heard, but still astounding...i actually think this slower tempo was what made it so fabulous. i will definitely remember your interpretation while i am playing this piece.
