@Iisdabest889 Nazis were extremely authoritarian. The Republican party is becoming more extreme with their authoritarian social views and they are moving to the extreme right on economic views. The Democrats aren't as authoritarian but they are constantly becoming more authoritarian and moving to the right economically as American culture becomes more right-wing authoritarian as a whole. As an anti-corporatist Libertarian who wants equal rights for ALL citizens I refuse to vote for either one!

What we see coming from the Right is a new type of fascism that's not left wing at all, but it's still draining people's freedom and allowing the system to ruin their lives. The modern republican party is a party of militarism and crony capitalism, and it's insulting that it calls itself somewhat "libertarian". So I totally agree with you. But what must be made clear is that the Republicans are still very different from fascists in all cases despite the fact they may screw the population in the same way.
